Description:
Revolution is in the air... especially here at MJ. Check out mikki nylund, pgreenstone and country john & mandolinquent's recent releases!!! Joan likes revolution too!!! This little rant is from the fruitful 5.29.05 session with fellow MJ'er irocc.

Lyrics:
Simplify your lives my friends!!!

Don't be a participant in the absurdity!!

Turn off that TV
Don't listen to the news
They're only selling products
That you can't use!!

Be wise Don't waste
Don't live beyond your means
And you will get to taste
A life without chains!!!

Drop out Drop out
Get off the grid
Drop out drop out
Of the fools we'll be rid!!!

Some people are like big children, harming others without even seeing it. Staying angry with these fools is like being mad at fire because it burns.

Tune in & drop out... &mdash 07/18/05 - 05:30:21 AM
Joan have such verve and joie de vivre. I love the idea of
these communications appearing from your culture
bunker every week or so. This is a great brawling noise; if
I wanted to get picky I'd say the megaphone vocals could
go down in the notch a bit. But who wants to get picky?

Viva La Revolution! &mdash 07/25/05 - 05:57:26 AM
Awesome lyrics, very straight forward, no bs, just a direct
hit in the stomack with such an important message. It's
very difficult to write songs about this topic without
sounding pathetic, it is however really needed today. The
crazy vibes in the music itself helps clarify some of the
frustration of living in a commercially driven society. The
bass, drums and guitars are really tight, like a train
running without the driver. At times this song reminds
me of the Scottish comedian/musician Billy Connoly for
some reason; he has the heart and would drop out with us
at anytime. I raise the flag for you guys and you are right,
there are for sure some very interesting thoughts being
communicated through music today, "something" is going
on and it feels very good!

Thank you!!!
