Just what I was needing.... ...I haven't downloaded a screaming guitar workout in a while, and here it is... I'm listening critically to what you have done here with the drums, and I've been thinking that I need to learn to build up drum tracks from hits and fills as you mention, and coincidentally I just bought and installed Logic Express...SO I'm listening to this as music and listening to "how'd he DO that?"... Seems to cut off in mid-riff, though...I want more, or I want a fade! Nice whompin' compressed guitar sound...keeping the drums and bass relatively simple to let the sound be uncluttered... Thanks to the HEY YOU post for directing me to this... Ed Check out my latest song called After Loving Anne (w/jiguma, SISTERS, Komrade K and Scott Carmichael)

Kickin' It Nice jam. Great tone on the lead guitar and I'm lovin' the riffs and the driving rhythm. Don't know if this is the effect you're going for but the overall sound isn't as crisp as your last post. Things aren't quite as detailed. Perhaps you've made some changes in your overall processing. So, were you born with all those arms or did you have those added later? I mean, forget about amps, effects, processors, etc., I wanna get me some of those! They must come in mighty handy when caressing the axe. Check out my latest song called Bounce Buffet w/ Hectorious

Tasty sounds, Z293 Digging the rhythm and playing here - well done. Love the tone you got on your guitar. |

Needs to go somewhere... While i can't knock your playing, this piece just feels a little bit uninspired... the proficient noodling doesn't take me anywhere and production, while clean, lacks some punch. Please don't get me wrong... this isn't a bad song... i'm just holding your bar a bit higher i think... you've done some pieces i've really liked and this one doesn't stand out against them. Needs to go somewhere... Thanks everyone for stopping by and commenting. Things move fast now at MacJams so any comments are appreciated. DC hold the bar as high as you want because I keep holding the bar higher for myself. I always say that my next one's going to be the one but my song writing, well basically sucks. I love to play and record and am really trying to work on my production so thanks for noticing the production is improving. Stop by for my next song it's going to be the one. Well maybe the one after that. Well maybe someday. I do this for me so any improvement is a step in the right direction. Check out my latest song called Lazy Days

Check out some of my other songs:
More songs in Hard Rock:
snowdragon
This one's kinda stuck in my head for a day or two. Here's
the direction it took me:
Chorus (think Steve Tyler doing Walk This Way, sorta, not
really, but tht kinda vocal styling)
"(He said)
You can't turn back, as I heard the thunder crack
Cuz nothin's ever what it seems
You really wanna go, but I think you should know
I'm the gatekeeper of your dreams."
Also, from a vocals and storytelling standpoint, if that
synth intro were stretched out a few bars, it would make
for a dandy prologue.
Enjoyed the ride.
