Description
One of my first efforts to enter the world of indie music. This piece is a fun assemblage of slide guitar, classic rock guitar and harmonica to create a folksy, upbeat song with a clear rock underscore.

Wow
Wow, This swings well! You have managed to get these junky
electric sounds go so well with nice acoustics. You've got a
really nice groove here which is both pleasant and inspiring!

And the later part of the tune is just groovy! Maybe could it
have ended while on high and left out the last bars with only
slide and drum ... no major issue though ...

Superb job!

Wow
Cori - thanks for the feedback. Means a lot coming from someone with your
talent. I did struggle a bit with the ending and will likely rework that part at a
later time.

Oh this is so interesting...
...I have put together a very different piece, but using a
bunch of the same loops, just as a learning piece, learning
to use GB as a loop based platform and not just for
straight recording...When I get it a bit together, I'll post it
up, just for comparison...We chose a lot of the same ones,
and use them really differently...

It still blows my mind that one can put together
something musical from these little snippets and
phrases...especially snippets and phrases from acoustic
instruments...I guess I expect it in the synth world, but it's
fascinating to see it in other contexts...

Oh this is so interesting...
Have heard a number of pieces that uses loops (or segments of loops) in songs
that are from GB. It IS amazing how so there can be so many different takes on
the same loop. Glad you liked it. Thanks for the comments.

Delta Delta Delta
Love how the delta slide starts slow, gains momentum, speeds up and erupts into a rocking song. Reminds me of the North Mississippi Allstars with the rythm guitarist from Kyuss. Would love to hear some vocal treatment to come in...

Very cool
Can't take all the credit. It's a whole lot easier when you can toy with it on the
computer. Takes out all the rough spots. Thanks!

Nicely done!
I recognize a lot of those loops, have played with them
myself, but I always use loops as background for vocals.
You did some really interesting things with them. Well
done!

Thanks Jo! Can't sing and have only amateur bass playing skills, but wanted to

I don’t know what it is. Somehow, for some reason, I’ve always had this love of music. I can’t sing, can barely play and couldn’t read an actual note if it were the only one on the page. Still, I’m addicted to it. Just when I thought I h... [see more]
