look like!!! This was awesome! Drums had me all giddy!
This kind of reminded me of the Postal Service, and I love
the Postal Service! Faved and D/L'd!

Well, I'm glad you like it. Good luck with the teeth, you may want to see someone about that :)

Thanks for the input.

Nice blend. Sitting here not knowing exactly what to say or
explain. Listened a couple of times. Strangely addicting.

Thank you for your comments. I have actually been waiting for a review
like that. I am just surprised I got one like that on this track.

I am currently in the process of "renovating" some of my old tracks. This
was one of them, if people like it, I have many more like it still to come.

oui
you snagged me on that initial hook- tight and
moody, creates a great environment.
but ouch, the time stretch on those drums bugs me-
maybe it's just me, but I want those kicks and such
crisp and spinal.
BUT not to say that your play with drum and
percussion is not admirable- well worked, indeed.
I think you could also mix some of the sounds with
some tequila for a more out of hand feel- everything
is centered, and a little muddy.
don't give this one up to the toilet, mein freunde.

Mein Freund, schatze ich Ihren Kommentar. However, I did not use any loops on
this track, the drums were programmed in Reason using Redrum and custom
samples. I will consider your recomendations on switching up the drums a bit.
Like I said before, this is some older stuff of mine, and I am posting it to get
recomendations before re-doing some of it in Logic Pro (which is my primary
music application now).

Viel Danke fur Ihren ehrlichen Kommentar.

Yeah Baby! &mdash 08/10/05 - 03:11:47 PM
Good stuff mate, the high pithched keyboards really hypnotised me, not sure about the drum fill at the start though. Maybe a bit more depth would have lifted it but then again that would've probably made it more of a dnb song. Great job!!

AFX twin? &mdash 10/06/05 - 10:04:06 PM
Love the tune, ambient dnb a la aphex twin. None better. Vary the
drums or the melody a bit and you've got pure gold, but I like it the
way it is. Very melodic and listenable. The production is intricate and
interesting. Well done.

Richard D. James has been a huge influence for me for quite some time. Thanks

...this beat is one great slapp happy stomping exercise... I like the
minimal melody too - just enough, that's all you need. I can't
believe I missed this one when it came out... it's memorable.

I've tried many times to pull off a good jungle beat, and I can never get
it right. I like this one! Very nice job!

I dig the percussiveness and the unexpected little chunks you throw in
here and there.

the closest thing that sounds like the genre in this catagory. If you beefed
it up with some heavier beats you 'd be on a winner.
