Lyrics
Is that you
Emilia ?
Pretty
Like a statue
Ready
For bacchanalia
Cannibal
Carnival
It’s all
so eternal…
So come with me come with me
We’ll walk with panthers to the sea
We’l have wine harvest and feasts
And the power over wild beasts
Yeah, yeah, yeah ! ! !
Evohe ! ! !
The bacchantes
And maenads
All girlies
So naughty
Kicking pants
When getting mad
I’m mister
Hysteria
A mistery
To ya…
Come with me come with me
The groves are so groovy
We’ll dance to tamburine beat
And eat your lover like raw meat
Yeah, yeah, yeah ! ! !
Evohe ! !
I’m mister
Hysteria
A mistery
To ya…

The Power Over Wild Beasts
This is one of the first songs I'd heard from Hamlet Machines way back in the 90's when they toured Japan with Bowie. I see all the comments have disappeared, so I want to go back on record saying that today, nearly 15 years later, I am still totally blown away by their unique style.

That's where David got "his" idea for his infamous "tin machine" project, by the way.
