Lyrics
Father forgive us for we have fallen from grace, by the hands of all
and all of our blessings have vanished without a trace, in the lives of all

send me your eyes so I can have fortune
send me your heart so I can know freedom
we know in our minds that life is still sacred
but it's cold outside and guns scream with hatred.

Father forgive us for we have bled this land, with the greed of all.
and our sweet mother hasn't the strength to stand, and we would let her fall

send me your eyes so I can have fortune, send me your heart so I can know freedom
we know in our minds that life is still sacred, but this world is cold and guns scream with hatred.

Well
I will do a little more than listen. This is a wonderful song,
moshe. You join what seems to be a growing list of
talented newcomers to this site. Welcome!

Please consider posting lyrics, and a little more info about
this. Very nice work. Excellent, heartfelt piece.

Well
glad you enjoyed it, this is my maiden voyage into putting songs on the net so this is all a little bizzare to me but I really appreciate the feedback, that's why I am doing this. I can definitely put some lyrics up, thanks again.

nice genre mix

The sound appears a bit muffled on my speaker setup (too
much bass), this needs some EQ! But the song is very
allright. ;-) Perfect blend of western folk, raggae and blues
( .?&!#? )

nice genre mix
thanks for the comments, my mixing setup is a little ghetto, I have an ipal speaker, some big sony headphones, and a $30 dollars computer speaker set-up with a woofer, I sort of play it on all three and find a happy middle ground. I actually put on "Natty dread" and tried to mix the sound to match that album on my speakers. It one of the harder things to do for sure. thanks again.

Actually...
I love the mix. That big boomy bass against the
bottleneck is great; this has a lovely big, loose-limbed
organic feel to it. Great. [mutters:] Damnit. Talented
newbies.

Thanks to atwood1956 for letting me know about this.

Actually...
cool! Yeah I've got one of those steel bodied resonators from fender and it's super cool to play slide on, I tried a bunch of amp sims but in the end it sounded the best just clean with some reverb. I am glad people are digging this song! I thought I uploaded a second one, but I have been searching for it and can't find it. I will have to re load it again tonight afterwork. Hope you guys like that one too.

Nice. The site needs more Police sounding reggae. Track is
too soft. Maybe hype the volume.

I really like this song. Very well done. I wasn't crazy about that guitar
