Brooding and inventive
What a cool vocal arrangement. My favorite part of the
song is your vocals, altho the entire brooding aspect of
the song and the eventual building instrumental section
has an epic and way cool feel. Your use of cut-off phrases
is very nice, really adding to the emotional element, but I
think you do it slightly too often, in my ears, and it looses
its inventiveness after too many repeats (perhaps adding a
few fills or pick-up notes in later variations would help). I
wish your track was louder (consider remixing with more
compression or something to boost the level). Also, the
end cuts off and seems like an error, or that this was
taken from a track that runs into another off a CD and you
didn't let it keep playing. Please consider either adding the
next section or figuring out a way to have this track feel
more complete by itself. This is worth perfecting, such an
inventive and cool sound you have here.
