A very persuasive Mystified, as well as good prodding by Ally-Oop, has given me the impression that the world really needs to hear me sing...this is a scary world indeed! But this is an original blues tune summing up my life experience in around 5 and a half minutes.
The snazzy new logo was inspired by Alimar, who has called me Zetes since day one. If he likes a post, he calls me Sir Zetes. I like that!
Nobody but me on this, with the new AKG mike and Mbox....the drummer who played the shuffle beat i used here (from JP3) deserves a medal for a very cool shuffle indeed!

Great sound.
You are a real bluesman.
The only thing I don't like is the panning of the guitar solo.
Mystified
...it wasn't THAT hard to sing for a bit now, was it? ;)
It's *great* to hear you singing, z! Hope there is more
singing to come. I really like this song....the guitar is
awesome, as always. Great blues...and if you ever do get
any answers, i'd sure like for you to pass some along, too!
I'm a fan--but you knew that ;)
ziti
they will be calling you pandora in no time
Mystified
Pfft ;)

Is there supposed to be something wrong with your
voice??!! Are you kidding??!! You gots to sing more Bro!
Holy hell man, VERY slick track.... no wonder your a pro at
this....
An U Still got that guitar indeed...damn dude...you lay it
down. I'm scared to post any more of my "guitar"
tunes....geez...
Way to make it bump Sir. Zetes.
-Cheers-
mandolinquent
... and he sings too!. Lovely sensitive phrasing on the
guitar. I love some of the tones you're getting here on
those rhythm phrases.
Mcboy
she knows...she knows......see, macjams has put u in a new
direction and lets u try things u normally would'nt
do...hehhehh.....great job on the vocals and git...the more u
do those vocals the better u;ll get at it.....
alley-oop
Hey Mcboy, you're next! Get out that mic and write down some cool jazz
words and sing one for your brothers and sisters!
Mystified
Hey...yes! What about it, Mcboy?
Heheheheh
:)

Very cool blues vocals from a bluesman. The whole thing has
cool all over it, the hand-clapping, finger snapping thing, the
guitar solos par excellence, the modulations. Excellent
details. What a treat.

When I first heard you play I said the guy can play but can
he sing? I think not. Now you go ahead and do this. It's
just not fair. Your voice suits your stlye just fine and the
guitar playing is stellar as always.
thoddi
Yeah, you have some jokers up your sleev Ziti. Think you
have some licks reminding me of the excellent mr.
Robben Ford. And you can safely sing more for us! Good
vox. Cool panned conversation during the solo.
nisper
you've waited this long to sing. Feeling like you've been
holding out on us. Very cool track with great tone and mood!
snowdragon
in a classic Dixon-Morganfield-Johnson vein.
Any chance of posting a version with the finger-snaps,
hand-claps or whatever that is cut back a bit? It sounds
great on the car stereo but kinda stings the eardrums on
headphones with my MP3 player.
Great tune.
alley-oop
Hey man, you sound so relaxed, like you been doin' it
forever. You sound great! Perfect blues vocal phrasing.
Now you got to make up for lost time. No more
intrumentals. Whole new world, baby.
Einarus
Outstanding!
Your singing fits the groove perfectly.
Very cool!
"ZETES" is the "Blues King" around these parts! Great
voice, Man. Classic styling in a fresh, new way. Clear and
clean production. Superb performances... and a GREAT
logo! The panning of the guitar solo adds a nice sense of
dimension surrounding me. Some fabulous 3-D space
created here. And that little laugh is a nice touch.
jgurner
Cause you have a great voice, especially for the blues. Sing
it, Ziti!
Top shelf production. Bring your voice out! Yeah, man.
Joanna
This is ultra cool, Sir Zetes! I really enjoyed hearing your
voice -- got a nice talking/singing thing going on there.
you're just too cool for words!
eleveneyes
it is a scary world indeed cuz not only do we need to hear
you sing, we like it.... a lot. you are very quickly
approaching my top 5 list of favorite guitarists of all time
and space. love that note you played and played. Such
awsome feel, phrasing and delivery. one little gripe...
sometimes the handclap/snapping thing sounded not in
the groove once in a while...or it could just be me.
your rock Zetes!
jiguma
Have always loved your guitar pieces, and this just shows
that you do have some voice! The solo just sings too.
LOVE IT!
caroline
illegal, immoral and fattening! it is just toooo gooood! yummy! thank you soooo much xx
Del
A clear line from the classic Clapton to this well done performance. If I were Eric, I'd be applauding in the wings. Instead, I'm writing this. Clap clap!
Stun Nutz
I love this style of singing voice... not "trying too
hard" at all... just natrual. It's fits the contemplative
lyrics. Guitar playing is great, of course, as well. I
enjoyed the snapping which propelled it along.
Ed Hannifin
Look, ya can't be master of blues guitar, master of
production, AND then come around singing, too....
(My wife, in the background, says, 'Tell him I liked it.') Hey
ziti, Karen likes it.
Your vocal is the essence of cool. You've got great
phrasing.
I agree with the one flaw noted, a problem I have
personally had when doing 'real' tambourine and shakers:
the finger snaps get out of the groove, and when they do,
all of a sudden you stop bobbing your head and notice
them.
That's IT, though. Another breakthrough in ziti-land.
I don't have an opinion on the panning, because where I
sit in my little area, it doesn't stand out a lot, but I do
notice that you are one of the MacJammers who THINKS
about panning, and about auto-panning...It's like a crayon
in the box that some of us (like me) haven't used yet...
Gosh, was it Mose Allison that used to sing kind of like
this? J.J. Cale sometimes does that conversational, husky-
voiced style...
And everything you do has swing. Everything you do
grooves.
What next?, we wonders, yes, we wonders...
Ed
ziti
again for the comments...i've messed with the panning...searched for the out
of time snapping....it's actually a couple slightly misplaced drum loops...and
enjoyed the hell out of hearing from all of you. I cannot believe that I'm
actually putting my real voice out there...and liking it...thanks AKG...mystified
and ally....if mcboy and 11 eyes like ya, I guess I'm blessed. my pals and
collaborators...and supporters here at macjams always saying things that
make a fella feel good...and pushing me to move forward! I'll always be
greatful to this community, for pushing me along at a time when my music
needed a shot in the arm. You all have given me more than you'll ever
know!!!
peace, love and swell things

dented
Very, very chill -- I enjoyed this quite a bit.
Cori Ander
Again a blues from you that is SOO cool and that makes
me soo happy.
You make the blues flow on like it was totally effortlessly
natural. I guess it's because you know what you are doing.
I mean know. You dont "perform" this kind of blues, you
own it!
Great voice-debute too! Your self conficent and cool voice
suits your musical style perfectly! I wouldn't mind at all to
hear a lot more of this!
One issue though is eq. The high trebble of the vocal
hisses sharp in my ears; not only on S:es but also on the
top frequences of your vowels, most distinctly on "if I had
any answers", (and also the finger-clicks suffer a little
from this).
Othewise a grand premiere! Congratulations!
SpasmodicMan
A bluesman speaketh. Seminal.
Your music creates an atmosphere of pure cool.
Thanks again for sharing your musical gifts.

If'n you think you voice sounds bad, sing about it.
If my voice was any good.
I'd sing my love to you.
But these pipes is so damn bad
All I can do is
sing the blues.
Man, my voice stinks!
mtriviso
I will tell you if I would listen to a tune again. Honestly.
This one I would and did.
remembrance(NEW MIX) is another I lstened to several times in a row.
Dagadella I listened to several times as well.
guitapick
...love this tune. Great vox/lyrics/playing/composition. Your PRS shines sooooo fine, here, z.
This is a great piece.
Feter
this giving me the feel of Duke singing and
