Description
I wanted to resubmit this song with a few changes. I've added lead guitar and more reverb on the outro vox. It's pretty much the for sure finished product now. The original version has been removed from the site.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.

Lyrics
Movin' Along
Dave Placko © 2000
I don't know where I'm goin' today
And I don't care if I get there anyway
What I do know is the journey is very far
And I can't even find the keys to my car
So, I guess that I'm walkin'
And if you hear me talkin' to myself, I ain't crazy
I'm just movin' along
Now, the thing about it is, it don't get any better
The desert stays dry and the ocean can't get any wetter
But through all of this, I know what I gotta do
I'm gonna take a trip. Maybe thumb my way to the Moon
So, I guess that I'm walkin'
And if you hear me talkin' to myself, I ain't crazy
I'm just movin' along
Yeah, I guess that I'm walkin'
And if you hear me talkin' to myself, I ain't crazy
I'm just movin' along
I ain't crazy. I'm just movin' along
When time stands still and the end is upon us
I'll be on vacation; I just got me a bonus
And nobody's comin' with me. There's only room for one
In these shoes that I'm wearin'. Goodbye. It's been fun
So, I guess that I'm walkin'
And if you hear me talkin' to myself, I ain't crazy
I'm just movin' along
Yeah, I guess that I'm walkin'
And if you hear me talkin' to myself, I ain't crazy
I'm just movin' along

I really like your vibrato. Very mellow voice, perfect for this
mid tempo folk rock ballad. Excellent finger picking/
strumming string choices. Altho the whole idea is that you
are walking and talking to yourself, moving but not really
going anywhere special, in my ears the lyrics needed some
differentiation between stanzas, something new happening
for interest sake. If the song went more places, lyrically, I
would have liked it even more. As was, a very nice
arrangement with very solid playing, pacing, balance, mix.
