why 12 year olds So this four year old, I rated his song under seven, and he got really upset and decided to get back at me by offferring no constructive criticism and just being mad, and rate my song as low as he could. thoughts from the bull... the drum beat is reminiscent of what might be now considered a "retro house beat." but with the Butthole Surfer-style low-twanging guitar and offset changes, it's hard to think of this as anything retro whatsoever. the voice is very funny. it sounds like Uncle Jesse from the Dukes of Hazzard. that in itself lends to the nature of the song and that it's not too serious, but at the same time creates a catchy buzz that lingers long after listening. i can't help but imagine this in some kind of indie monster movie featuring a giant man-eating crawdad. and you're right... love the amount of rock and weirdness in this one! thanks for sharing it up!
