Lyrics:
heres the lyrics in case you dont get my thick Japlish accents!hanging out with the white boys
tender age of 17
i was so crazy about my favourite bands
my whole life was about the things they sang
dreaming about the place ive never been
there was a band called Helloween
and thanks to them i spelled wrong in the English test
what did i see through the long haired stars?
all my friends looked like Def Leppard
what did i not see back in 1992
why do i always wear someone else's shoes?
hanging out with the white boys
i was happy like a boy with new toys
got my hair all breached
but it never was me
hanging out with the white boys
but still smelled like a bunch of soys
i did not see it for long
that i dont belog
got myself in the university
people started loving R&B
i could spend a whole day watching MTV
time has changed and nowadays
even caucasians dig RZA
you cant earn a dime if you cannot rhyme
what do i hear from the gangsta talk?
all my friends started calling me Dawg
why do i feel like i am left behind?
i cant flow and i only whine
hanging out with da brothers
were walking the street with a bluster
our shorts are hanging lower
and shirts are bigger
hanging out with da sisters
i keep letting down my father
it seems to me our nation
is a big imitation

This reminds me of one of my favorite bands... Sweet
(1970's) with the harmonies.
Excellent guitar noodling and variety in sounds. JS- you
write pretty good in English- nice to see and hear you
branching out. Another very good song!
jesushairdo
well, this song started as a joke at first.... and came out nicely i suppose...
in fact, it was a lot of fun recording this!
thank you for listening and leaving your comment!!
Einarus

jesushairdo
hiya Einarus! thanks for listening!

A really cool, fun pop rock tune....bit of a neo-glam feel to
this. Accomplished production and playing, very nice
guitar work in particular..
Thanks for sharing
Steve
jesushairdo
hiya! thank for your comment. really appreciated it.
wanted to sound like a power punk band but ended up like this.
its got to do with my age.... hehehe.
and very funny lyrics. Well played and awesome production.
Gave me a big smile and got me doing my sitting-in-a-
chair-with-my-headphones-on dance.
jesushairdo
hiya Mungo. thank you for your comment.
im glad that you enjoyed this.

Hey JHD this was quite a funny song and well done
musically as well. It's also a great insight into how a
Japanese guy has seen the American pop music scene. By
the way your accent wasn't bad at all. Rock on brother
across the water.
jesushairdo
hello! thank you very much for listening!
so my accents are not too bad? kewl!
but still, cant quite get the "r" sound as always...
chimptone57
I like the music and the song writing but the vocals are not good. Try finding someone with a more pleasing voice that can rock equivalent to the music. Otherwise really good.
jesushairdo
outch! that hurts! but well, i think i know that im not a good singer.
thank you very much for listening and writing a comment.
um... would you sing it for me?
itd be super if someone at macjams would want to sing my songs.
TennesseeVic
Oh come on, I'd say this is a pretty good rock and roll voice. The music reminds
me a bit of early Beatles. Something in the rhythm and harmonies. And if you
listen to it with that in mind, the singer sounds a bit like John Lennon, who
didn't have a "pretty" voice, but boy was he able to project emotions.

Victor -- I review yours, you review mine, 'kay?

Musically, it's very interesting to listen to. Nice and bouncy.
Love the vocals, especially when you throw in the harmonies.
Love the lyrics. Kind of a biting commentary on MTV. Lolved
it.
jesushairdo
thank you very much for your comment!

dented

I think every element here is perfect, including your voice.
Your voice is a perfect pop-rock voice and your accent fits
so nicely with the lyrics. I think it makes the song more
interesting and adds flavor than wouldn't be there if you
were singing in accent-free English.
You write very well, not just because your English is great,
but because the lyrics are really specific, funny and
unique. Most people, regardless of their first language
don't write as well as this. The lyrics are just excellent.
I really love this. You're going on my iPod and I plan to
listen to this song over and over again! I'm really glad you
recorded it.
jesushairdo
whoa! thank u thank u thank u! love ya!!!
seriously, im glad that you enjoyed this song and im glad that
i recorded this for it!
you really made my day mate! thank u!
Epileptic Gibbon
Reminds me of my youth when all my friends had long
hair and were getting into Def Leppard et al… even I went
in that direction, musically and hair length-wise. This
song is very upbeat and jaunty, wacky in the way of
certain American College bands or maybe XTC. It's fun
and funny, but also a welcome commentary on the
"following the herd" mentality and the popular trend of
culture swapping because its cool, that seems to be so
prevalent in music these days (maybe it was always like
that… I guess we all follow the herd to some extent).
Loved that guitar solo at the end, and the lyrics are great,
particularly "even caucasians dig RZA". Vocals are nice too.
Good stuff!
jesushairdo
i wanted to find something to rhyme with snoop doggie dog but decided to
go with RZA instead. thank you for listening and your super cool comment!!
jschultz76
this song is lots of fun. it sounds like something that would
play at the end of a movie while the credits roll across the
screen. i really enjoyed this one!
jesushairdo
wow! thanks! itd be super if my song were played at the movie ending roll.
well, one of these days.... you never know what happens!
thank you for listening and taking your time to comment.

jesushairdo
hiya. thank you very much for your comment!

"In the Living Years" by Mike and the Mechanics. That off beat guitar
playing is very well done. You can really play.
Very strong hook as well. Great chorus.
