Brilliantly written song! One of the beset-written self-loathing songs on MJ; I see from your website you've already got it going on, so good luck with the album. Check out my latest song called Had We But World Enough

Witty and very musical theatre (in all the right ways) Really enjoy the wit. The lyrics are a great concept and follow thru, and the bridge is perfect. Your voice has such a musical theatre vibrato, the song coming from a character's point of view works well. Could be from an Broadway show. Clever and fun, very entertaining. nice tune Great song. production is NOT 8s and 9s... sorry. The mix and sample selection in the chorus needs some tweaking IMHO. |

Yea! I agree with Tobin about the musical theatre sound to your voice. That's a compliment, though... I'm in the biz myself... Anyway, I love the stream of conciousness in your lyrics. It's clever but not contrived. I really like this! Check out my latest song called Monica's Waltz

A gag on both your houses... Good Lord, this is FUNNY... I can imagine Nathan Lane belting this one out... Your singing's great, well suited to the tune. The pace is just frantic enough... A lot of what tries to be funny tries to hard. This has genuine wit... 'Twill serve.... Ed Check out my latest song called Uno/I Like The Way... (with Macaudion, SISTERS, ktb, and ziti)

Better than just funny This made me laugh a few times, especially the middle for some reason - 'And I promise not to cry in front of you' - just unexpected maybe. But I really like the way the lyric plays with the form - the third verse referring to the song and so on. Was it a tough lyric to write? The verses fit together so well, but it sounds like its quite a tight structure to work with. Running up and down the scale and then bursting out with the chorus is great. Better than just funny Really glad you dig it. I have to say it wasn't terribly hard to write. I will say that it didn't quite rock until I found the right hook, but the lyrics came fairly quickly. I kind of let stresses within the meter go, and knew that would be funny in and of itself, and this is what came out. thanks!!! Check out my latest song called Jut
