Lyrics
Cosplay

Night Shower
In Shibuya
I kissed you
Hello-Kitty
Everything
Flickering
Under
Your see
through
umbrella

Me and You
in Harajuku
all we do
is play
cosplay

Me and you
in Ueno
play Gaijin
and Idoru
and a fat
crow
is laughin’
at what
we are tryin’
to do

Me and You
in Harajuku
all we do
is play
cosplay

That day
At Odaiaba
You walked away
To the sea
And you say
« me will kill me »
Blah…blah…blah… blah…
That night
In Aoyama
Just out of the « Blue »
The red light
And the zebra
Talk to you
More than I do

Me and You
in Harajuku
all we do
is play
cosplay
You and me
In Yoyogi
We’re through
with cosplay
zoku

Coolness
Surprisingly, I really like the flattened/compressed sound.
Wasn't expecting it and thought it might get tired as the
song went on, but you pulled it off well. Loved the flute
sound, but kind of lerched at that ultra-high pitch part. The
bass drum might be a bit loud, but it could've been my
system. Good job!

Coolness
This was the first time we used GB, plus we (Brentford, that is, the other half of
the group) had to accomodate an analogic sample recorded on seomething
like an 1878 Edison phonograph. We sound different now, more layered and
noisy. Thanks for your comment.

Guitar and Flute Dance the Poot
Amazing combination of unlikely sounds. As in every Hamlet Machine
song, the guitar sounds are brilliant and simple and well balanced. So
many subtle noises that almost go unnoticed - especially in my right
ear - they really make a significant difference in the overall effect.
Some nice dirty parts that are introduced throughout the song and not
over-done, in my opinion. I bet I've listened to this song over 100
times (and finally commented, sorry). I think the production is right on
the money - the levels are mastered just like a dream. A dream where
some hot Asian chick is wearing a big puffy bunny costume and likes
to be tickled. CJ's lyrics are loaded with awkward snapshots of strange
rendezvous destined for late night cable tv. The vocal treatments are
well designed and consistant with the entire song - The main vox and
chorus contrast nicely and again, are well balanced and extremely
sophisticated. Back to the dream, the Asian chick with the big puffy
bunny suit.....

ghost in the shell
Wow. I can't believe we're talking about the same song... I have
considered suppuku for not having been able a find a decent way of
singing this early HM vs GB tune. And I was not quite convinced when
Brentford insisted on putting it on 'fantaste', where I don't fel it fits with
the rest, in terms of sound texture- though I like the sound in itself.
Maybe the robot in you has a soft spot for anything japanese. Thanks a
lot for your comment, again.
