Description:
This is an atonal avant-garde-like free jazz improvisation that I did in three piano tracks (right, left, and center, all done via MIDI from my digital piano into GarageBand), playing off of each other. Yeah, I got the idea from Bill Evans in his album, "Conversations with Myself" -- only I don't have any jazz talent and, as I said, this is completely atonal so it doesn't sound like that at all.
It's inspired by everything that the letter 'E' means to me -- which is a lot. :)

This is a great track. It reminds me more of Cecil Taylor than
Bill Evans, but I understand what you're going for. I'd love to
hear some more pieces like this. The three piano tracks
work well off of each other, and the piece itself evokes a
great introspective and contemplative mood.
Thanks! I actually don't know who Cecil Taylor is, but I bet I should probably check him out. Yeah, I didn't mean to imply this sounds anything like Bill Evans, just that I blatantly ripped off the 3 piano tracks thing from him. :)

If you like free jazz, and piano based free jazz, then certainly Cecil is the person
to check out. If you ever do, I'd be curious to know what you think.

Hey, this is pretty cool... even though the notes are
pretty chaotic, the overall sound has a certain
cohisiveness... It's like flowing water, or falling rain...
or maybe falling piano keys.
