I like the vocals....the mix seems a little confused...too
much going on....too many sounds fighting for my
attention...the lyrics are very good...

take your time and relax to the music thats what its about
great mixture of influences to make your own sound. very
unique to the point that it sounds like all genres. Thats a

I could have sworn I was listening to Les Claypool singing!
Thats not a bad thing though. I love the character evident in
the voice.
It's a well written song but I agree that there is a bit too
much going on instrument-wise. It's a bit all over the place.
The lead guitar (I think it was guitar) at the end would have

Listening to them, I feel like you are a neighbor of mine
that I get glimpses of and talk to occasionally and don't
quite understand, but enjoy your company, your kind of
off-beat presence.
This song is a delight. I may agree with others before me
about the mix, but I'm not sure. Your harmonies
sometimes sound not like harmonies, but like someone
singing along with a record, like a fan of yours is singing
with you, but not really trying to be tight. This has a very
loose feel all the way around.

You've yet to make a bad song, but this ranks at the top
of the great ones. This is what I stick around for! I know
what people say about the mix, but honestly...it's your
style and I hope you never change that. Like Tom
said...it's almost as if you're singing along with your own
record. I think that's the kind of stuff that make your
songs stand out. You've got a Vic Chesnutt quality to your
voice and your songs tend to fight between an eclectic
folk tune and a fun pop song. You're in a category all by

THIS IS WOW.......TOTALLY LOVE THIS got me jumping all
around my room dancing hey. its really great how it just
builds up and up and up in the mind like it gives you the
feeling of overwhelming busy busy and it just gets you going
Love this played it to some girl friends and all they wanted to

Oh yeah, ignore the mix-doubters for they know not what they have here.....anywho, yaow-za! This is a nice ecletic mix of genres. I hear country, pop,
dance, a little funk, good ol rock n roll and the Rolling
Stones. It is very cool that you have your own style. It is
always better to have your own style than to be just another

This goes on my iPod. The only comment I have is to echo what meatpoet
said about the mix. Everythings up front all the time and the eq of the
various parts wash over eachother. It's not a question of simplifying
things. I really like all the stuff going on at once. But without refining the
eq, stereo placement, and volume, the ears get tired.
