Description:
Some loops, some live guitar, some live MIDI (choir, synth lead), live "vocals". Wasn't too serious here, but it turned out interesting - I also like how it leads into one of my other tunes (Big Bad World) in my iTunes playlist. Also, testing out new place to put this stuff - spymac - it's been a bit sluggish lately, since getting over-run by people wanting 1GB email storage.
Lyrics:
And in that day...
And in that time...
And in that day...
There...
There was...
There was...
Peace

I like the delayed intro of the bass. The lyrics grew on me
too. Radiohead synth-choir is semi-amusing too. i'm
happy to have peers like yourself listening to and judging
my stuff. This is creative. It's one step beyond
pretensious, it's like a parody of pretense.
"Why?" LOL. I think.

LOL is fine! &mdash 04/11/04 - 03:19:30 AM
Thanks - Yeah, LOL is a good response. "Parody of Pretense" I like that. :-)
I pretty much made the "lyrics" up in one pass. I did go back and correct a
hesitation, but it's mostly off the top of my head, and yes, my toungue was
pretty well imbedded in my cheek.
btw - I dig "Apart of Me" and "Shopping Trolleys" quite a bit. Some really nice
stuff in there.

really nice groove-thing goin on. gotta say i wanted more
to the lyrics-not a big fan of repetition, but that's me. the
drums are kind of an odd addition, but they work well, i
think. loved the deep bass melody near the end [ Reply to This ]
solid stuff &mdash 10/18/05 - 03:20:50 PM
I personally liked the lyrics for being so minimal. It added to the almost
confused feeling of the music. Just like a guy standing in a room, looking
around, not sure of what to do, being unsure. ADD-like. and on top of
that, it was all constructed well. i like. [ Reply to This ]
