Disappointed!!! &mdash 08/18/05 - 12:28:26 AM
I came rushing over here expecting to get a dose of The
Foghorn, but no!

Thankfully, you left behind a highly groovy piece with cool
drums and really accomplished guitar work, or I might
have cried.

Disappointed!!! &mdash 08/18/05 - 04:39:18 PM
Thanks Lisa...don't worry the Foghorn is being warmed up, primed and ready
for a future track! Thanks for stopping by to listen

Lovely &mdash 08/18/05 - 02:43:14 AM
Beautiful piece of guitar work. Wonderfully atmospheric,
reminds me a little of Quicksilver Messenger Service et al. I
suppose that rather dates me!

Nice Guitar Tone &mdash 08/21/05 - 08:49:51 AM
Really like that sound. Like someone else said the guitars
sound like they are singing. Sort of like what Roy
Buchanan used to do but actually with a nicer tone.

job.

strat &mdash 08/21/05 - 10:19:07 AM
tastic Stephen,
I can hear your "Mark" influence,
nice strat sound and playing, flows really
nicely down that mountain,
very nice and relaxing tune, I think it
works great without vox.

Cheers

It's like Jimi Hendrix, Richard Thompson,.. &mdash 08/21/05 - 03:05:56 PM
...Mark Knopfler and David Gilmour were all teachers at
some exclusive prep school...and you absorbed everything
they knew about tone and phrasing...and then brought it
to your own music, your own sound...

I love the sound of strats, and this is a lovely strat
instrumental...And I love improvised lead...

This is a very soothing but also a very "alive" piece...

Only complaint...I wish it was longer...but that's a GOOD
place to be, if I as a listener am left wanting more...

And I wish the fade was a little slower...

Even so, it's off to Download Town for me....

GREAT job!

Ed

good... &mdash 08/26/05 - 02:37:22 PM
Great &mdash 08/30/05 - 04:52:47 PM
First of all - great guitarwork you got going on there. It
sings.
I really liked the vibe of this one. Very calm and smooth. I
can see myself listening to this while relaxing in a hot
tub...
I wasn't particularly fond of the congas in the beginning.
They seemed a little to 'aggressive' for such a soothing,
lovely song. But that might just be the hot tub talking...
Nice song art as well.
Excellent!

Really love the subtlety of your touch on those strings. Allows for some very expressive dynamics.
