Description
My first rock song arrangement & performance. This song was a challenge I placed on myself -- to write a happy song. So my dear friend, MG, played a bass line and told me to add the next track, and so on. And this is the result of some really fun experimentation, laughter, good beer, and a person I really connect with. Don't ask about the title. A girlfriend said it sounded like something from the "Friends" tv show -- and this was the first thing that popped in my head. Funny concept.

Song Credits:
MG: Bass, Clavinet, Arrangement expertise, Saying "yay" to the tamborine, and Chord structure.

Miss Chaos: Acoustic Guitar, Organ, Electric Guitar, Some bass, Percussion arrangement, Final Mastering

Oh yeah, and I should mention that every single track in this song is synthesized!!! Go easy on us... this is our first attempt at being rockers. (!!!)

I think this would be great as the intro music for a tv show/
series.
I dont mind the synthesized sounds at all.great production
and arrangement. Lots of interesting chord changes and
funky tamborine!
Great upbeat stuff here..

Wow, they sound like real drums
You are so talented, it seems like everything you do is.

How did you fit those drums in your studio!

This really fun.
What I looooove about your music is that you are so dang
melodic!

nice and pleasant listening!
This reminded me a bit einarus. Very nice sound, i like the way the tambourine goes in and out. The song has an original progression. almost sounded a bit like an old videogame soundtrack.

Fab and groovy
Really great track...I dig all the sounds. You should put
some vocals on this...could be a poptastic hit!

where's the vocals?
You've created a nice, upbeat bed of music here, but it's
crying out for vocals, in my humble opinion. Seems like
this track needs an additional "something".

I'm wondering what you could do to punch this up
somehow; the track sounds a bit flat. The choice of
software instruments and the balance between them is
good, but this track sounds a little homogenized and
"level". (Don't know how to explain it....)

It's great that you are experimenting with different styles,
and expressing different "feels" and emotions in your
music. Keep going!!!

Mi(da)s Chaos strikes again
Sheesh, sounds like you can do quite well here too... it has
that lush longing MissChaos signature to the tune, makes
you want it to keep going. It is simple, breaks just at the
right time into a bouncy B-tune, you have enough
interesting embellishments going on to keep it fresh... the
only (minor) nit pick is the drums, which are almost
perfect, too perfect and too uniform... I can hear the
pattern changes here and there but there's not quite
enough variation, and there are a couple of places where
the snare does a rat-a-tat-a-tat that is too perfectly
exact. Definitely calls for a real drummer :-) Drums are
complicated to write for and baffle me. The music is
beautifully bittersweet, great instrument choice, nice
panning/EQ... sweet 8s across, DL/Faved! This is another
MC hit for me, Brava!

Entertaining and Definitely Happy
It's fun, pleasant to hear, and you hit the target for sure. I'd
like to hear more attack on the guitar as it sounded too
much like it was being played on a keyboard. There wasn't a
lot differentiating it from the lead on keys. That's a relatively
minor thing as the tune as a whole was quite nice. Thanks!

give-and-take me away
A nice blend between straight-ahead rock simplicity and complex thematic variation. Each time I listened to it I discovered something new to enjoy in the give-and-take between the instruments.

give-and-take me away
Fantastic feedback. Thank you to everyone who commented! I agonized over
whether to post a song like this since it's a genre which I know very little about. I
can say one thing for certain: this was awfully refreshing to write and play such
happy music. Now back to my regularly angst-infested programming. ;) I'm
really a happy person... honest!

I wish that I could do this
What an interesting sound MissChaos. I really like this one two. Now
I'm curious part of the world you live in. I like the lightness of this. I'm
trying to be lighter in what I do, but I just can't make it work like this. I
like the transisions and you chord work here. Very xc'lnt!

The grahpics are perfect for this too.

Nice job!

Starting from the bottom of your song list ....
I find myself STOPPED on this one !!!! Because Now I suddenly want to SING all over it !!!! I was inspired by _nerscore's comment about "you can run but you can't hide" ... and thought to myself .. hmmmmm now there is a line to write some lyrics around .... one day you might just receive an email from me saying .. hey I sang on top of this .. you wanna hear it ???? I shall continue on my Miss Chaos Listening Journey .... and let's see if I can remember tomorrow .... how inspired I suddenly was tonight .....

kind of
swirls around the mind.. then gets stuck but in a good way! very catchy. I have to admit that this would be excellent for a drive in the country just cruisin with no where to go. Strange! well cool song!
