Reminds me of graham nash for some reason. nicely recorded. I like the harmonies very much

This is a very nice tune. I really like the way you play
guitar, the certainty of your picking, altho I am not sure
why you included the opening countdown talking. In fact,
consider singing right away and then create a build with
later instrument breaks and additional instrument layers.
The vocals are a bit in the background, making them in a
different space than the guitar; I'd rather have it seem like
this is a recording of a singer-songwriter in which the
playing and singing are happening at the same time in the
same space. Also, with an intimate song like this, I'd
prefer an ending rather than a fade out, too. But a very
nice song idea well performed, and your octave harmonies
are affecting. I really like story songs.

All your songs seem to have a dark mysticism attached to
them. I could easily hear them being played at a New Age
fair or somethin of a similar nature.

your playing captures memories and the softness of the vocals is truly
lovely.

You really have this guitar and vocal thing down. There are probably a whole lot of technical points that the typical audiophile might point out, but I think you need to keep running full force with this theme. This and "A Man by the River" are the best tracks I've heard on this site. You have a really strong delivery with very strong lyrics. To me, these are the most important aspects of any song.
