Bag of Hammers

Description
Big, dumb hard rock with a dash of punk. From the "more is more" school of songwriting. Inspired by countless overzealous 300 lb. mosh pit participants. So many years ago but I can still remember the bruises. Good times indeed.

(No actual instruments - or hammers - were involved in the making of this song)

Well planned track
Still can't believe there were no actual instuments used in the
making of this track. I've always been a bit sniffy about using
loops as a kind of musical lego, but this is terrific. lovely
hard mix, very clean and well thought out. the ending
sounds like someone cut it off with an axe!

I'm loop free
Thanks for the support bikeshedbob.

I have some disdain for loops as well with is why I never use
them. This track is 100% original - no loops involved. Every
note was painstakingly built in Easybeat then migrated to GB.

I find I can make what I want faster than I can tweak a loop.
Plus, I can get very detailed if build stuff from scratch.

I'm a purist I guess.

It's hammer time!!
Very kickin'! Great amount of power in this one!
I can only imagine how this would sound with some live
instruments!

Full of stripes
Reminds me of The Cars, Devo, the whole early 80s thing.
Maybe you can get White Stripes to cover this? You should
write lyrics to it, great energy.

Fun.
I really like the energy in this tune. The whole thing just feels like it
really drives, and that's not easy to do when you aren't playing actual
instruments on a recording. Interesting bass line, too. Nice work.
