Description
Here in Indiana, children are required to take a standardized test called the ISTEP test (Indiana Statewide Testing for Educational Progress). My principal at our elementary school asked me to write a song about this test, encouraging children to do prepare well and do their best. (I am the music teacher at our school).
So I whipped up this little ditty.
GB2, Synthogy Ivory, drum loops from Sonic Boom Box. MIDI controller is Yamaha P-120. MidiSport 2 x 2 USB midi interface.
Shure 5655D mic, Behringer MX 602A mixer (as mic preamp).

I know how I would have reacted to this in 1970 - but I
wasn't a model student.
I like the sprightly feel, the melody. Your playing and singing
are very good, as is the recording.
