Have missed you about the place here. :)
as always your vocal delivery is brilliant.
lyrical content is amazing,...
You are a true master of the spoken word.

I do hope you are ok, and shall miss your humour around
MJs....

Tangible words &mdash 09/06/05 - 01:59:03 PM
As usual, nice bed of melody to hold your words, dripping
with longing and gentle erotica. So, you will leave me
"Deep in the Snow", remembering the growling fire in your
vocal delivery, the vivid imagery painted with your poetry,
and as a fan, I leave you with my best wishes for your
continued journey, wherever you are headed, I have
enjoyed what you have shared with us here. Thank you!
ttfn,
Drakonis

Hey &mdash 09/06/05 - 03:18:58 PM
Nice words, nice voice, nice music. Nice person I guess- tough I don't know you... There is something calm about the things you do.

Hope you can return with some more good words for us here sometime...

Take care!

my friend... &mdash 09/06/05 - 03:51:43 PM
Steven, I was so pleasantly surprised to see an email
notification of a new tune posted by you today. It's been a
VERY long time -- I've missed you, and I know that many
others have, too.

No-one on this site -- I repeat -- NO-ONE, has such an
emotionally compelling, deep and rich voice as you have!

You were one of the very first people whose music I heard
here (and you were one of the first people to listen and
comment on MY music!), and I was immediately
magnetized by your voice. I have enjoyed listening to your
musical offerings ever since.

You also have a very natural musical talent which has
always gratified my ears. You are a musical
COMMUNICATOR! You speak to people's souls.

I'm sure that the loss of your guitar and keyboard is awful,
but you have managed to make wonderful music here and
now with this song in ANY case.

Your use of loops has always been imaginative and fresh;
you've done very well with what you've got now, and your
voice sounds as rich, full and expressive as ever.

I hate to think of this being your last post, Steven, but
sincerely hope that you will return here sometime in the
future to share your great voice and music with us once
again.

But most importantly, I hope that you are OK and I send
you every best wish with this message.

Take care, my friend.

I was excited to get the email &mdash 09/06/05 - 09:22:07 PM
That announced that you'd posted something new. It
really is a strong evocative memorable piece of work. I
swear you could read the phone book and make it sound
like the kamasutra. I'm dismayed to hear that this may be
your last post here. The only reason it would make me
glad is if it was for the same reason as Mars, that you'd
been "signed". I don't get that vibe here and it makes me
grieve.

I've been looking for a new addition to the top of your list
for a while now, I'm sorry we sort of fell out of touch, but
you have been on my mind. Life gets in the way that way
sometimes. Hope things can come together for you.

Sliding syllables &mdash 09/07/05 - 07:30:31 AM
Beautiful photo, cohesive concept, wonderful voice and
details. Love the line "my own syllables slide my lap..." I
enjoyed your rhymes and rhythms on this one, they made me
smile, even as I was mourning the loss of your keyboard and
guitar, inexplicably mentioned in your description. Peace,
Steven, may it always be around the edges of your motion.
