Description
A funk piece performed on Edirol keyboard with supporting loops from Zero-G Propack. I noticed that this piece seems to freak out my cat (Lolly) so since she and I have suffered for my music, now its your turn.

No suffering here
Good beat, bass, guitar and horns. Nice production
bringing interesting sounds over the beat. The lead guitar
fits in well with the sound of the piece and the over the
bass and drums.

The clarinet synth was a good departure from the wilder
sounds. I like the end lead guitar riff too.

Good production sense and use of tones on your
instruments. Excellent fade out.

Good piece of work.

No suffering here
Thanks for your comment. This one actually sat for awhile and was tweaked a bit
before I got it to where I released it. Its a nice departure from my recent abstract
vein for me.

Enjoyable
Good groove. Where distortion appears piqued my interest. I
prefer my funk nastier and this was a little too staid for my
tastes.

Enjoyable
Thanks Mungo. I know what you mean bout the nasty. I may explore a bit more
distortion and was looking at varying the bass line a bit more - maybe a fuzz?
But I had this languishing for awhile and sometimes I tend to overtweak.

Cool
This is a nice construction, very groovy. I bet you could improve the horn riffs by finding good overlapping riffs. I like when the horn section plays two different things at once, a slow part plus a fast part, for example. But maybe that's just me. This is pretty funky but i would call it a dance tune. I like it!

Cool
Thanks for the suggestions! Horns are always hard with loops or synths. I'll have
to see if there is any way to give them more bite.

Haha!
This is sweet, the beat is great, and I love how some of the other instruments like the distorted guitar just kinda come in in the middle of the song, keeps you right on your toes.
very enjoyable.
