Totally raw and probably only good for headphone levels, sometimes I just think them up and just record and then I fall in love with the recording and shy away from re-recording. Then again maybe my ears just get used to it...

So beautiful and heartfelt, and your voice sounds
gorgeous. It IS very lo-fi though ... I think it would be
worth trying to re-do it to get a cleaner recording. I know
it's sometimes really hard to recapture the soul of the
song when you re-record, but this is so good it's got to be
worth a try. Thanks for sharing this version though - it

I really appreciate the sentiment of the song. It's pretty lo-fi and repetitive at the same time, and though the emotional content is powerful and the singing is expressive, it's not reaching me because of the lo-fi qualities. Good for a demo, but I would like to hear this taken further. [ Reply to This ]

... always so good and it connects so well. Nice song too.
The downside is your singing is so quiet in parts that the
pitch evaporates; and the dynamics of the song never pick
up - partly because your guitar is a bit samey. I'd regard
this as a sketch for a potentially really great song. [ Reply to This ]

thanks mando, I'm trying to deal with that quiet thing, I'm actually doing the
whole breathing exercise thing, I'm still learning the controla aspect of
singing. I'm glad for the honest responses on this one, I'll be working on it
cuz I do love it so.
