Description:
This song is about life. Partially philosphical, partially based upon frustration, anger and hope.

Thanks,

M

Lyrics:
[ enough ]

i fear life is not here
i am blind most of the time
i fear you are not there
i fear you are gone

there's so many roads
but life is short
so many things we could do

there's so many dreams
inside of us
but we can't go on

what does this life mean
what's the meaning of it all
if it is to learn new things
i've already learned enough

i fear life is what it is
and that it is no more
i fear
we all fear
the day we disappear

there's so many stories
inside of all of us
but we can't write them down

we don't know the key
to the language of love
forever it will be locked

life goes up and down

enough

Great Sound! &mdash 09/12/05 - 05:14:42 PM
You got a great mix of instruments going on there. I really like the drums. Did you use loops?

Another good one!

Thanks for listening! No loops in this song, except the
drums that you like. I amost never uses loops, but are
limited to the amount of real drums I own. Glad you like!

Great sound... &mdash 09/13/05 - 07:44:55 AM
I love the keyboard/guitar textures you're getting here -
they mix so well with your voice which is sounding really
good too. Drum loops are well used too... Couldn't make
out the mandolin... but I'm sure it was in there!

Thanks! &mdash 09/13/05 - 08:03:33 AM
I am such a beginner on Mandolin I am a little scared of
putting it forward in the mix quite yet... :) It's a distant, shy
plonk-plonk on the refrain... I love the sound of it and are
sure it will be brough more forward as I get better at the
techniques of playing it... I am glad you like it!

enough is just right &mdash 09/13/05 - 09:40:09 AM
I really like this; you get such a great hypnotic sound out of your instruments and the vocal sits on top of this wonderful bed and it's fascinating!

Never a disappointment &mdash 09/13/05 - 11:45:20 AM
Another involving track which is, as always, a cut above
the norm.

Thanks for being so prolific!

the contemporary soung on this Jam. Keep it up.

Message well relayed &mdash 09/15/05 - 03:47:59 PM
from the first second of the song, you were extremely succussful in creating a mood of longing and confusion. Everything fit together like a puzzle to my ear. I really like the music to this and your voice was right were it needed to be.

Cool song &mdash 09/20/05 - 02:18:39 AM
It reminds me a bit of Michael Nesmith. I like the layering
& everything is mixed great.

The drum loops are good & well used. Have you ever
used your keyboard to play GB's drumkits? It's great for
adding fills & touches on top of drum loops or creating
your own.

You've found other keys, tho, and keep opening doors! &mdash 09/27/05 - 08:01:34 AM
I really dig these lyrics! Really like the production, everything. The falling
bass works well with your concept, too, adding to the emotive qualities.
My only critique is that the track cuts off, which may be a philosophical
statement, but it sounds like a mixing error, not letting the tail play out.
I'd rather hear reverb or an endless echo or something than the cut off.
(Consider doing a remix of the very end of the track?) Sorry I missed this
track when it was fresh but I absolutely love it. Sorry for being later, but
better late than never!
