nice song :)
hiya elfi, nice ballad, nice soft voice. i've always loved songs
like that, or those about broken heart, unfilled feelings, a
death of one of the lovers on even both because of cruel
world or cruel father etc. i might wouldnt use the echo. it
feels like it is steeling attention from lyrics and melody. what
would be nice, just really simple one two tones, maybe chord
quietly played bellow, just to point out that lovely melody.
nice one. thank you

Like Your Voice
I think you have the voice to do this type of traditional
music very nicely. The recording does need a little help.
There is something that distracts from your vocal. Either it
is a GB effect that you have put on or you are possibly
getting feedback from singing too loud or close to the
mic. If you are using the built-in mic, which I do also, try
setting the volume input more back toward the middle.
Then use the au bandwith effect when mixing to cut out
any unwanted sounds. Just play around with the sliding
levers until you like what you hear. But you really do have
a lovely voice.

Thanks!
Thanks, both of you! OK, I'll give that a try. I'm still playing about with effects etc!

Thanks!
p.s. If you haven't encountered it yet, you have to click on manual to get the
sliding levers on the au bandwidth.

Three ravens walk into a bar
And the bartender says, this is a bar, we don't sell E, so
quit your Rave-n.

Whoa, off the top of my head.

it's too clicky. Play around for sure, maybe stagger parts
with a couple of vocal tracks for a beefed up sound.
Maybe sample an MC HAmmer beat from 1988. Anything
is possible.

Nice track

Three ravens walk into a bar
*groan* Oh, that's bad! lol!

I agree though - the hard constanants do sound clicky - but I think that's because I added too much reverb.

Hmm....sampling beats...now that's something I hadn't thought of.... neither is adding strings......

*heads off to play*

you should
do this song again with much less reverb....
this is such a nice tune and your voice is so sweet
on this, but the clicking sounds do destroy the mood
for me...
Nice performance and great voice.
