Remember Me

Description
This was my very first love song to ever write...although, I don't think it's a very typical love-style. Remember Me is based on more of a sad theme, emotionally driven for something that couldn't be fulfilled.

Lyrics
As I sit alone, I dream of you tonight
When all that I could ask for
is you by my side
How I long to hold you
wrapped up within my arms
I cannot contain it, your words are
not enough

This one thing I ask you,
before you fall asleep
Remember me
Because I am drifting away
So before I fall and weep,
Remember me

Why can't I be
the man I see inside?
that I might lay down
my head and cry
For I long to claim what
can never be erased
but grant me one desire,
I long to see your face.

This one thing I ask you,
before you fall asleep
Remember me
Because I am drifting away
So before I fall and weep,
Remember me

This one thing I ask,
before you fall asleep,
Remember me

So before I fall alseep,
Remember me...
Remember me.

Nice tune
Like the composition, sounds very well done. Lots of
emotion. Like the build up 3/4th of the way through. Nice
pop radio sound indeed. Good use of the picking on that 12
string! Singing has that current pop radio feel.

Nice

Very Nice
indeed. You have a good singing voice, i felt in places it was
a little quiet tho. You could bring them up a bit more.
Love the melody and the lyrics are very moving..
reminds me of Richard Marx.

good one

I liked it...
but the mix needs a bit o' tweaking. Each of the instruments sounds really good individually, but the levels at times don't soud quite right. loved the vocals - excellent lyrics & performance, but the crecendo near the end sounded a bit overdriven to me. Overall I thought it was a great song - 9798 from me. Thanks for sharing!

Powerful performance
Really nice. Sorry I missed it when it was first released. Excellent
emotions, power, arc, pacing, sentiment. Solid.

great work
1st.. I love the vox, and the emotion as the song falls into the chorus...
bravo... your vocal range and quality is killer, and you don't just sing
the note, you sing the emmotion, great...
a few coments about mix... what did you use for drums... they don't
seam to fit at times and can distract from the song... there is some
overload at the build that can be fixed in the mix... and the intro to
the guitar solo (good work by the way) you might want to think of
introducing the instrument in a different range since it comes in over
the vocal in the same range as the vocal.. either that or placeit more
distant (reverb-pan) then make it more present as solo procedes

don't mean to be picky
