Description:
This is our premier song on MacJams
and we're working on blending our voices together.
We hope someday to make an album.
We would like to thank Macjams member "Flapjack"

Lyrics:
I love you like I love you
yeah, yeah, yeah
I love you, (etc)
Don't ever worry, baby
I'll never change you
I promise you
And I promise you....
Can't you see the sun arising over the mountain top
blazing beams of light, sparkling
So beautiful to see you
Don't you know that I love you.

don't shoot the piano player... &mdash 09/15/05 - 10:58:42 AM
wait, yes, shoot the.. no, wait.. I don't know who to aim at
first!

This is disturbingly funny, and hauntingly familiar, sort of
a baffling deja vu, hmmm. Good luck in blending all those
voices together, hope they all fit on one silver platter.

Dragons don't dream of deriding divas... but I can't help but point out some
prior
parody art that they are parodying... in other words, if you like this tune,
you'll go wonka over this
baffling numba
, and of course, turn off your cell phones and listen to this piece of phryggin'
ingenuity
. Dragons are suckers for parody & britwit, and the inertia of
these girls perpetuates the motion of the genre. Brava!
ttfn,
Drakonis, forked tongue firmly in cheek---
deja vu, it's the next best thing to being there

Thank you kindly Drakonis, two very fine examples of parodies there.
most amusing and worth a listen indeed.
We are glad you took the time to listen to ours as well.

Distinctive sound &mdash 09/15/05 - 11:51:50 AM
Congratulations, divas, on your first post. Welcome to MacJams! I know you are new to the site, but I already feel as if I somehow know you. Must be the warm mix of harmonies and blending of tones that reach out, almost grab you by the throat, shake your foundations and cause you to question everything you thought you knew about singing. And, flap, the minimialist work on the piano, inclduing the quarter tones, fit this particular piece perfectly.

No choice - but 10s.

How, kind you are Mr Atwood to pop in and comment.
We do understand that it is entirely possible we may sound similar to other
artists.
We do hope however to remain unique..so to speak.

Marvelous Dahling,
Although, unlike Divots, We may be a little harder to replace.
Perhaps we could discuss this at the next Polo tournament.

I've died and gone to Harmony Hell !!!

If they ever find bin Laden and his group holed up in some
cave, this would be the one to blast over loudspeakers.

Serious stepped-on-cat music. Whew!

Oh. My. God. &mdash 09/17/05 - 12:33:05 PM
I did have to listen with headphones on. And it did fix the "a bit pitchy" to the appropiate degree. It also showed that the cell phone was ringing in the left channel while the footsteps to pick it up went off toward the right channel.

Wait . . . THAT'S my only comment?

It was Jamelia in her new black leather thigh highs with 9 inch heels that you
could hear, running after the goat,
Camellia had to get the phone on the other side of the room... and she only had
flip flops on.

Stunningly operatic! &mdash 09/17/05 - 03:43:35 PM
The 3 Tenors, you all can just move over, GIVE IT UP to
The 3 Divas! They shine in the limelight now. You three
gals are a total sensation!

I was stunned from the first note, soaring up towards the
sun like Icarus. The sinuous, cat-like vocals cut through
like....well, it's beyond description.

Your pitch really made an impression. It was AMAZING.

Your piano accompanist was incredibly sensitive,
following each vocal utterance with notes I never dreamed
of....I didn't even know such chords existed until now!

I would like to hire this pianist for my next recital.

This recording has taken me to new heights
of....well....(oops, gotta answer my iChat! Brb!)

Back now. I just want to say that this is truly an
unforgettable piece of work. It brings up very strong
emotions.

I look forward to your next presentation.

I am upset that 10 is the highest score I can give. This is
way, way beyond 10s.

Ciao!

I don't think I have heard, or felt, anything like this.
Ever. It had me on the edge of my seat. My ham and
cheese sandwich almost got lodged in my
esophagus.

Funnily enough, I think it was a cheese and ham sandwich that finished the goat
off.
and...that was Samelias fault for leaving the door open

This alters our perception of what music can be &mdash 09/22/05 - 11:07:21 AM
The first time I heard this I wasn't ready...I went running
into the trees shrieking. But that was the old me. Now I
am a new person, my ideas have been shaken up, my
clothes have been straightened and I can smile as
confidentally as the next insurance salesman. If Brian
Wilson had heard this he would have stayed in bed. Such
is the awesome power of the voices of the 3 Divas. Viva
los Divas!
