good beginning Thanks! Yeah, I read and write a LOT of poems. As for musical inspiration, I listen to a lot of the old ballads and medieval songs. I'm working on a medieval hymn right now, written in the 12th century. Check out my latest song called Carol of the Bells 2009

moody this is nice. i think if you could work out the chords to go behind it, even if they're just simple and there's only a couple of them. you could add some cello or electronic stuff. definitely potential here - maybe you could collab with someone who's good with accompanying this type of music. there's just a couple times when your voice goes offkey (hah I should talk!) but for such a sweet voice it don't matter much. Haunting, refined poetry. With some instruments and/or fx this could be awesome. Check out my latest song called Julia

it is nice song elfie, but it must be so difficult to sing without
some even just a basic chord as a back ground. i know it
from my own experience. if there is no music at all, it is
really hard for me, while singing, to keep in tune. where do
you find inspiration for your music? do you listen to cd's? do
you read poems? do you write poems? i like melancholic
songs. it is so nice to see someone hooked on a type of
music i like a lot, folk trad and ballads :) good luck in your
creating :)
