thou shalt not kill

Description
I am not considering myself religious, especially not in any group or political form, nor in a context of a God against another God. I do admire Jesus however (or the story of him). He stood for what was right and good.

As usual I am playing all the instruments and voices and some of the drums except the snare drum loop.

Lyrics
thou shalt not kill

a young man is sent away to a foreign war
in the name of freedom hunt them down and kill
you must do what you must do when the time comes
you must face the enemy and shoot them down
life goes on
life goes on

jesus said: thou shalt not kill
he died for his sins on a cross upon a hill

on Texas Death Row a man name Bob
was given a fatal dose of chemicals & love
he claimed he was innocent and the Warden looked down
Bob drifted away and the Chaplain said: God, have mercy on us!
life goes on

everywhere in the world there's a lot of: kill, kill, kill
our history is black but red with blood
in the name of jesus, in the name of the law
in the name of fundamental thoughts
just kill
life goes on

Such life going on here!
Such a cool sound. I really dig the organ, the whole shuffle rhythm thing,
the sense of group party, the clapping. Again, the instrumental break is
the downside in my ears, lacking the wonderful energy of the vocals
sections. But I'd hate to detract from such a great track. Killer concept,
killer track. The music goes on!

Thank you guys
Being able to use different styles has become one of my landmarks. Some
like it, some doesn't. I don't have an option myself since I am only
expressing thoughts, visions and ideas - if that means it will turn into a
style of my own, that is fine of course.

I am too a bit unsure about the instrumental break. When the song was
made I had a vision of a movie or video running inside of my head, and I
was seeing it as full color movie, but when the break comes, it turns into
black and white. I think what I was trying to express was a few moments
of seriousness.
