The plaintive emotional piano, great choice of beats, nice synth voices
floating in and out. You need a real chorus though, this one sounded
noticeably synthetic this time. Orchestration is crisp & balanced. Overall
feeling of energy and anticipation... very enjoyable piece! I hope we all
weather these storms OK!

Thanks for the comments, Eduard. I actually chose the more "synthetic" of my
chorus timbres for this one, and then intertwined the more real with the
synthetic. I like the breathy, windy quality of the latter one. But still, having a
choir at my disposal would be a dream. Thank you for stopping by to comment.
Means alot.

this feels like soft, warm sunlight at the end of a very long, cold day. i
love how the beginning & end are joined with feelings of excitement,
confidence & joy.. & how the delicate use of FX captures a sense of
quietness & calm, tying it all together
my favorite song of yours ;) [ Reply to This ]

Great Piano &mdash 09/25/05 - 03:32:38 AM
This is wonderful. Great beat. I liked the melody change in the middle
followed by the drum buildup. I don't really have anything negative. I am a
huge fan of piano with synths, so I love this.

NP, I love that melody change sooo much. It is very uplifting. And it is something
that I can't do to well so I really admire it.

Love that feel of the whole tune.
Nice new age sound. Like the chorus effect, it fits in quite well.
Nice fad out and the list goes on.

About to post a remix of this one...
This song changed the color of my week-end...
Apart from 'Thank you Miss Chaos !', what I
have to say might stand in the remix... [ Reply to This ]

You outdid yourself &mdash 09/25/05 - 05:45:08 PM
You continuw to set higher standards for electronica creativity. Your
name is quite a puzzle as the music you have created is anything but
chaotic. It's been a while since I heard an instrumental on this website so
harmonious and so perfectly put together!

Leon, you just brought a ray of sunshine to a particularly foggy & stormy day
here in cheesetown, USA. Your comments are taken straight to heart. Thank you.

very nice whatever you call it &mdash 09/25/05 - 11:47:04 PM
Great piece of electronic music - maybe more dance than ambient, but
very nice whatever you call it. It is difficult to do these things well of
course, and you have succeeded. I really like the way you've put light
and shade into what could have easily become a just a beat driven set
of synths - thinks . . . . maybe that's why its not dance! I really like
this Miss C - love the artwork too! [ Reply to This ]

Thanks, jiguma. You've caught on to the frustration I have here with genres. I'd
like to think that I'm doing neither dance/electronic or ambient electronica, but I
can't offer a better descriptor if there is no way to classify this. ;) I always seem
to resort to these blends of acoustic and electronic -- I guess I can't split with
my classical background. :) Thanks so much for listening!

I really love the piano part... I imagine looking out across the sea and at things in the past and things yet to come when listening to this. I always love orchestral parts, and this utilizes them to a tee as well! [ Reply to This ]

mood &mdash 09/29/05 - 04:14:25 AM
This piece invokes such an interesting mood. I like the the melodies,
changes and drums. Are they drums on demand? They fit very well.
Very well orchestrated. The piece moves through diffferent themes with
tasty transitions. It's very peacful. Thanks for sharing. I hope the
inspiring party get to hear it. [ Reply to This ]
Not at all my thing... &mdash 09/29/05 - 07:46:25 PM
...SO WHY DO I LIKE IT SO MUCH?
Y'know, you're not one of those folks who seems to be searching to
compose ONLY WITH SOUNDS NO ONE ELSE HAS EVER USED BEFORE IN
THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD... something that seems to tie some
synth folks up in knots...
It seems more like you've got a great sense of groove, a great beat, a
nice sense of melody, and harmony... and you've created an actual
song, an actual piece of music out of it all...
And the production sounds great.
This is really nice...

This is a great piece of work that you have put together. Very soft and
yummy, but it has a nice driving groove. Very nice synth work; I wish
that I could do that. You have a good since of song structure and
composition which explains, why this feels like such a 'complete' piece.
Congratulations MIss 'C'!
P.S. Nice artwork as well. Two 4 thums up! [ Reply to This ]

wow - our directions are fairly similar. we both love rich pads and sweeps. plus - you're rockin' the live keys (sound more compelling than 100% sequencing). Your monastery pad is great and reminds me of delerium. also, that;s a real tasty beat. did you program that, or is that a loop? either way - very tasteful.

Only complaint is it feels too short, you could let this track roll on ... [ Reply to This ]
The Professional &mdash 12/26/05 - 06:18:38 PM
You have such a polished sound, Miss C. And your chord progressions
are always interesting and really moody. This could be in a movie. I
love the little touches throughout this one. And the use of (I'm not
sure of the proper musical terms) softness and, well, hardness. That
made moderate sense to me. Very good. [ Reply to This ]

Wasn't sure what to make of the opening... the sound of the storm
churned up memories.. but i got hooked on the percussions: their
movement in and out of the piece.
It has grown on me...

all of your mixing is top shelf... things are where they should be....you
build a believable soundscape... 1st from the fading heartbeat intro, all
the way through you keep my attention.... hard to do in this genre,
because you have to tell your story without words... last I love the
etherial lush pads that arrive and depart throughout... I'm a sucker for
atmosphere... great work [ Reply to This ]

Miss Chaos, You Are Bliss! &mdash 06/07/06 - 06:45:05 PM
Stunning work. Loved every aspect of this piece. It's soothing to the
soul. The change towards the middle is beautiful. This really reminds
me of Enigma but more melodic. You have impressed me once again. I
can appreciate your talent like no other. I havn't had a chance to listen
to all of your postings, but this encourages me to keep exploring what
you have to offer. Very impressed!!! Please, never stop writing music!
Peace!
