Well actually it IS music Just getting up on the soap box for a second, for almost every definition of music there are flaws except for the ones coined by John Cage being "Music is organised sound" and "Music is sounds, sounds around us whether we're in or out of concert halls" And down from the soap box. You've got some nice sounds comming out there and setting up a nice ambient and calm space there... unfortunately for me there isn't much of a connection between the various parts of the piece. Too many sounds and techniques for me. Is there any particular story to the novel? That could help with continuity. But other than that, keep it up. soundscape All art is important in its creation, the process; the result, flawed or not , is subject to taste. Music is where you find it. There's a wonderful artistic liberation in knowing absolutely none of the rules, but still finding things to say musically. With no preconceived belief of 'talent', I am free to create and post pieces that interest me. There are musical elements here but i chose the word "soundscape" to describe it. As for the story, I have my version and its yours to create. Thanx very much for listening. Thanx very much for honest and well considered comments. this isn't really music. In fact very hard to show to people. It remind me to early 70's. Artists such Silver Apple, Amon Duul. You are brave! Keep it up!
