Gorgeous. Altho my mind went in a completely different direction than
the description suggested. Wonderfully expressive for MIDI, and
exceptional playing for not using overdubs. Wonderful track. (Korg
should hire you.)

Thank you for your comments and support.
I appreciate them very much .
It re affirms my confidence as a composer , which I so often doubt when I meet people who are more money orientated and pragmatic. I have staked my life on music and have known poverty.
We artists and musicians must support each other.

Once again thank you . You always have supported me.

The piece meanders but that just the way I played it as it was recorded. This was recorded as an audio file from keyboard to mac , one of the connections was a bit loose , hence the noise at the start .

Roll out the Grammy &mdash 09/25/05 - 10:14:52 PM
I imagine this could be a soundtrack to some grand movie, a war movie
like Platoon or epic film like Out of Africa. These things come to mind as
I listen to your wondrous composition. This is big league music!

Thank you Leon.
Funny the same type of thing was going through my head at the time of playing it .
Mind you I would be well happy if I had composed Adagio for strings ( Barber ).

Now that I have a bit of time and access to the net I shall have a listen to some of the other macjammers .
Slan anois ( goodbye for now in Irish )

the bear and i would've run a mile from this - it makes us feel very dark and unhappy - which is, maybe, what you intended, if so... well done! but, my tastes are broadening - no bad thing - and i can appreciate the beauty of this piece too - forgive the bear - he rarely stops bouncing! thank you - we enjoyed listening because we can hear hope and lots of it x

This excellent classical piece describes the WAY from war to the peaceful home. But at home you will never forget the war...

I'm glad I found this &mdash 09/30/05 - 03:03:26 PM
This is a beautiful piece of music, and I am in awe of your ability to sit
down and create it in one take.

I admire your talent. I have pieces posted that are largely improvised, but
I go back and work on them, clean up what needs cleaning, overdub, and
try to shine them up. Your piece here shines on its own without such
going over. Congratulations on this accomplishment, and on your putting
your talent to work in this way.

Just one word --WOW! &mdash 09/30/05 - 08:52:11 PM
You had me from the opening chords. This is unbelievable, all the
more so because it was done in one take and is completely live. You
picked the right course of action choosing music over money. You have
a gift, as they say, and it's good to see you using it.

Voted, marked as a fave, and d/l'ed.
