Description
Got my old schoolband horns off the wall and managed to breathe some air through them... Thought they made a kind of salvation army feel to the tune...

Lyrics
As I get out of bed to do my things
like I do every morning,
Well I face my self, I’m getting older.

I turn around, rush out the door,
get stuck in the traffic jam once more,
I get bolder, every day.

Take some time to think about, what,
what I’ll do later
When I’m home, when I’m home.

Days of rain is nearly over.
Sunshine is coming my way.

I see other people just like me
Watching the time, we wont get late.
It gets colder, it gets colder.

I have an awkward feeling, I’ve been here before
Played all the games, but I’ll play again
Till it’s over, till it’s over.

I see other people just like me
Watching the time, we wont get late.
It gets colder, it gets colder.

Days of rain is nearly over.
Sunshine is coming my way.

Innocent Vocals
These vocals are very honest and innocent. This is a wonderful piece. It
complex and simple at the same time. The horns could change to
something else, or maybe just bring down the volume on them? In
contrast there are some points such as the very very end (last 5 seconds)
that the horns are perfectly placed.

Other than that, very good production. Overall a great and almost warm
feeling song.

Innocent Vocals
Yeah I was very on and off on having that trumpet here. I tried alternative options but came back to the horns. I like that fragile pitchy sound they give to the song. Its a bit naive and I feel it gives a contrast to the conservative instumentation I've used here.
Thanks for commeting. I appreciate your thoughts on this:)

Soulful
I wouldn't think those elements you've chosen would work together ... I'm
reminded of The Band and how well they were able to mix things up into
a brew of American music. Your singing and playing and arrangement are
excellent.

What I find especially fascinating is that you're from Norway and English is
most likely not your primary language.
One tiny, minor item - although your spelling is phonetically correct, the
word is spelled 'awkward'.

Falling for the falling bass
My favorite of yours since your fabulous blues track Talk. Really nicely
arranged. Love the falling bass warmth, solid writing. Love your guitar
playing, well integrated with other textures, which is not easy. Such an
enjoyable voice and way of presenting.

Really cool
Vocal reminds me of Robbie Robertson a little bit, and when the horns come in, it gets really cool... eminently download-worthy. Sounds like it might fall apart at any time...and I mean that in a nice way! Love the groove!

Really cool
Glad you like the horns.
I like the description that it might fall apart.. kind of fragile. And I must say I can like the part about Robbie Robertson as well;)
