You have a fine voice Leon, and I like the way you've done this song.
Nice guitar work and great latin feel - excellent! Not sure I like the
sound effects, although they are clearly a part of the story you're
telling, but this is just a personal feeling. Saw that you've only recently
started writing songs - very impressive.

On third listen, I can't hear the bass - is there a bass line, or just the bass
drum? Would really round the song out nicely - nonetheless, a great post!

Thanks, man. I added the war sounds cause I felt it sounded rather void of
drama... I'll try removing the gunfire and see what it sounds like. :-) As for the
bass, I probably can augment that a little bit. Thanks for the inspiring comment
and constructive tips.

wow! your vocals are amazing!
the only thing thats got me is the guitar. i think its slightly out of tune.
apart from that, i think the song is super solid and your vocals are
shining!

Thanks, Jes (short for Jesushairdo?) :-) I've taken notice of the tuning of the
guitar myself. I even had a software to tune it, but it must be the guitar
getting a little warped over the past winter or something. You have a very
sharp ear for this little nuances, and that speaks of your musical talent, dude.
I'll try to have this looked into at the guitar center and see what they can do
about..or maybe it's just me. Ha-ha! Anyway, thanks for your generous
comments about my vocals. It must be all that computer trick I've done with
it.

Your voice is great , guitar is tasty .You are some man for one man as we say here in Cork.
Keyboards to me are a little bland , but then I am a pain in the arts when it comes to keyboards.

You have a wonderful voice, and this song is a great showcase for it. Nice
harmonies, and nice use of them. I'd sure like to have you in my choir...

The sparse instrumentation is tasty. I would have brought some low mid-
range keyboard sounds in to fill the spectrum and add drama during the
body of the song, but the song works very well as it is.

Firstly, great title - makes a real statement. And the great thing is, the song lives up to the title.

Trying not to repeat other comments, but you have a fantastic voice, really emotional, and good use of harmonies. Moreover, there is real character to the voice, it's not just a 'good' singing voice.

I do think you should add some bass, and maybe a string part, to support the sweepiing, weeping feel of this. This is great as it is, but you can make it a complete killer.
