Lyrics
Decision
Dave Placko © 1995

If I seem a little confused
It's because I read the news
More often it seems to me
That there's some kind of conspiracy
Somethin' goin' on behind our backs
Better watch out. Better cover your tracks

It don't matter where you run. They're right behind you
It don't matter where you hide. They're gonna find you
Just don't let 'em take your soul, all right
Just don't let their minds decide

They might come and take the bread right off of your table
They might create some disease and give it to us all if they're able
But some friends, and me, we all agree
That the only solution is total annihilation of the human race
Yeah, let the animals rule the Earth!

It don't matter where you run. They're right behind you
It don't matter where you hide. They're gonna find you
Just don't let 'em take your soul, all right Just don't let their minds decide

It rained today and I'm feelin' blue
Something's gotta change or I'll come un-glued
I'm liable just to go berserk
Get outta my way, you stupid jerk!

It don't matter where you run. They're right behind you
It don't matter where you hide. They're gonna find you
Just don't let 'em take your soul, all right
Just don't let their minds decide

this is what they told me to say....
i thought the intro was a tad too long.
the tune has what i call a mid-west rock sound to it which is very cool.
reminds me of pre life's rich pageant R.E.M.

this is what they told me to say....
Who told you to say? The voices? Yeah, they tell to things too.

Thanks for listening. My bandmates say the intro is too long too.

BTW, How I'd Love ROCKS!

There's a lot of paranoia...
...around these days.

This is the exactly the sort of unrestrained guitar sound I love. No fret-
wanking, just hooks and riffs galore.

Absolutely great!

There's a lot of paranoia...
Hey, just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean their not after me!

Thanks for listening.

Your Pimpin' Worked!
Made me come and listen to it... and glad i did. Great rock tune... very
"canadian" sounding... if that means anything to anyone...

Keep up the good work.

sounds well done to me
This has that radio friendly rock feel.
Singing sounds spot on. Like the strummin!
Really, really think that singing is rock slick!

Straight ahead rawker - nice bit o feedback after second solo. Would
have liked to hear the bass a bit more forward at some points tho'

poppin pop
Hey Bug,

this is a nice and easy pop tune.
Liked the garagey sound and performance.
It could have used a cool bridge part or something,
but that is just my personal taste.
Nice song Bug.

Cheers

Niiiiiiice
LOVE the jangly guitar! Nice, easy-going rock with a cool, contrasting
guitar solo. My kinda rock n' roll....

Good going, once again!

(and didn't you know that *everything* is a conspiracy? The cigarette-
smoking man told me so!)

i relate
i can relate greatly to the lyrics, i love the part saying let the animals rule the earth because i often ponder if that would be best. you are a skilled song writer and this song has alot to say.

Excellent but...
I didn't make the switch from animals ruling the earth to the last verse
with "I'm feeling blue" - That didn't really balance for me. I still think it's
a very cool tune and it's favoritized and downloaded. I loved the guitar
work in the intro - Intricate without being ostentatious - Very, very nice.

Like it a lot
It really reminds me of a kind of REM vibe, way back when I really loved
them that is! Nice guitar sound. nice vocal. I do agree the intro is long,
but I think it works. Would like to hear the bass a bit more forward in the
mix though. Nice work! Added to favorites...
