As always, I love your music... the guitar is well played, beautifully
simple-but-stirring Eastern-European-sounding soulful melodies. I
can feel the longing, very evocative, and your TVI-words tend to make
it universal; Instead of straining to listen to the words, I just relax and
get wrapped up in the music.
I have a technical suggestion, however. The recording seems slightly
muffled or muddy. Your voice and the guitar tend to occupy the same
space. That may be because the guitar and voice are both in the center
of the stereo channels... you may want to record with two
microphones, one for voice, one for guitar, and separate each track a
little to the left and right. Or, it may be that the equalization drops the
high end off a little... you may want to boost the brightness of the
guitar a little? This might give you a clearer recording.
I hope this is helpful, and I'm so glad to listen to another song of
yours! Thank you.

Thank you, Falon, for your encouraging comment.
By the way, the lyrics of my songs are a freestyle fantasy language, which is made up during the improvisation of the whole song.
I wish you much fun playing the guitar. The guitar is a part of my life.
I can't miss it.

I love the improv...
This seriously brings back a flood of memories from my time spent sitting in small cafes around Budapest...having no clue what any one was saying...
Well played...Thanks,
Do you ever wonder if you ARE actually saying something??? :) [ Reply to This ]

Hallo Mokus, thanks!
"Do you ever wonder if you ARE actually saying something??? :)"
My fantasy language is simultaneously made up during my improvised guitar play. I'm able to imitate a language like Frensch, Russian, Italian, English. It sounds like this.
When I started to play guitar I tried to sing any syllables which I had in mind. After a while I could sing in a freestyle fantasy language.
My intention is to improvise the whole song at once. All my songs are improvised, expressing the original mood I have at the time of recording. It's authentic.

Hi country john!
You wrote:"...somebody creating work that conforms to a rationale

That's a good point! That means: the creation is totally in line with the personallity of the individual. It's authentic. That's what I love!
Thanks for your encouraging message and appreciation.

I wish I understood the lyrics. At times you sound like Gordon
Lightfoot. I really liked this one. [ Reply to This ]

Thanks! My "lyrics" are a freestyle fantasy language. To understand is a question of musical feeling mediated by this live improvisation headed by the title "See You Again" or "Hot Love".
Feeling is understanding of real life...

This piece reminds me of the end of schindlers list , when all the stones are placed on the tomb.
Very european in its feel .
I am downloading this , I could learn lots from this.

Hello thetiler!
When I improvise with the guitar or keyboard I listen to the sound, rhythm and tone sequence to get in line with my voice and fantasy language. It's really a dialogue between my fingers on the instrument and my voice. You hit the point!
Thanks for your nice comment.

The freestyle fantasy language is a strong concept. It unifies
your voice, the instrument, and the song structure nicely. I can't
help wondering what it would be like to hear a song you do in
two separate tracks, though: one for the instrumental and the other for
the vocal.
I also can't wait to hear your faux-English. ;-) [ Reply to This ]

Hello screaming.org,
you wrote
"... I can't

the vocal.

Up to now I'm not able to create / compose a song in two steps:
first the instrumental part and then the vocal part.
When I play the guitar or keyboard I get simultaneously the melody and fantasy language to complete the song. I'll never change this... it's my way to make music.
By the way, I can imitate the English language without any sense.
Up to now I hesitate to publish a song with imitated English in USA or UK, because the listeners will recognize the wrong English.
It's easy to sing Russian like vocals in Western Europe, because most of the listeners don't know the Russian language.
Tthanks for your encouraging feedback.

Up to now I hesitate to publish a song with imitated English in USA or UK, because the listeners will recognize the wrong English.I think this is exactly why I find the idea so intriguing. It's actually been a wish of mine since childhood, when I discovered that I could imitate the sound of a foreign language, I've wondered what it would sound like to a native speaker. Over the years I have asked a handful of non-native English speakers to imitate English in this way. Alas, they have all been too polite to grant me my wish. --- unskilled and unaware[ Reply to This ]

As soon as I've recorded a song with imitated English I'll send you a private link, but not for the public...
Thanks for your interesting reply.

Even I can not understand what the song said but I can say this is one of the best song I ever heard.
It is good from the rthym to the picth, from the voice of the singer to the guitar. All I can say is: great. Keep doing your good job. Hope can hear more song from you!
I really like the guitar sound. [ Reply to This ]

its really cool that you use freestyle expressive vocals...
a lot of people could take a leaf out of your book...after all, isnt music all about expression and emotion?
thanks.
