Lovely Lovely artwork - really fits the feel of the piece. It is gorgeous. So sweet and soothing, it really moved me. Excellent fingerwork and nice string accompaniment, although I would've liked to hear some deep long string lines to underline the guitar. Those short lines kind of left me wanting more... which is not all bad. I really liked the reverb of the guitar, as well. A most excellent post, which proves yet again that you truly deserve the title MJ-er of the week! Thank you very much for sharing! Bravo! Check out my latest song called Good Things Come in Fours

Lovely Thanks Einarus Of course I mentioned it before but I really enjoy your composing as well. It is funny about reverb so like it,some don't but I wanted to get a new age feeling and a added a slight chorus. I took out some of it though. Thanks again --- The Tiler Check out my latest song called The Bluebird Cafe (with two other guest)

heavenly indeed The little added accents of the strings are particularly well done. Personally I don't care for this much reverb, but that's just my personal taste. I think it would feel a bit more intimate with less reverb, and a piece that's this delicate might benefit from a less roomy sound. I would have liked it to go on a bit longer, but I really enjoyed this. Check out my latest song called Weather or Not w/awigze

Fantastic again! This one makes me think of Antony De Gennaro and his guitar style. I very much enjoy his music so that's a good thing. I loved the way the strings seem to chime in. Check out my latest song called The Broken Doll's Waltz

You continue to grow More beautiful, evocative excellence from The Tiler. Tasty, sparse orchestration. I can never muster that much self-control. The "less is more" theory is easily believed, but not easily pulled off. You did it here. Thank you for your continued gifts to this site. Check out my latest song called Just As It Is

Classy Classy track, understated, very good New Age. Love the little synth string stabs in the background, like a glass harmonica, love them. The reverb effect, like being inside a bathroom, is both interestingly crystalline and a bit claustrophobic in my ears. The piece, which is warm rich writing, just kind of ends without a fitting ending; maybe could use a melodic finish? Very floating and dreamy and enjoyable, tho. Bright strings I wonder how often you change the strings on your guitar. They allways seem so bright and fresh:) Nice fingerpicking! I kind of wait for a hook-line or something to make a melody in there - but I can of course make my own:) Thoddi Check out my latest song called Don't tell me what I can't w/KTB and Ingve

Bright strings Good point Thoddi It is tough with new age, because I want to keep the flavor of the new age sound by making the fingerpicking in the for-front but then If I do a single string solo I may loose a bit of the texture of the acoustical guitar. That is one reason I made the orchestration limited but I may do another version and see what people think. Thanks --- The Tiler Check out my latest song called The Bluebird Cafe (with two other guest)

Business as usual ...And of course, this is another example of the finger pick'n and 'mind' agility. This one is more of a fav for me, because it has a sweetness that I wasn't available to receive in some of your previous works. Also, I like the added dimension that the strings cater to. Congrats! TT, on another fine display of your musical abilities. You might consider this as an option for a day job however, I do understand that you are just as talented w/ tile work. Also congratulations on recieving the MJ'r of the week! It seems that it was certainly due... Cydniko Check out my latest song called 123 iGetU

Lovely Great tune, man. Your playing is always so clean and right on. Love it. I'm finding myself agreeing with the long string party, but I think a variety would also be grand. Also, the reverb doesn't kill the piece for me, but I think I'd like to hear it a little drier, get that guitar a little more in front of the effect. I mean, if you're gonna go back and mess with the piece anyway. Always a pleasure to listen. Check out my latest song called La Valse Final Waltz

Waltzes rule! Nice one Bill - I'd probably have liked to hear it with drier reverb too, but a lovely piece nonetheless. You seem to play so fluidly to my ears, and so accurately as well - the string addition was just right! Thanks Bill - hi to Betsy! Not just Jim I'm with Bouchard and Neil on the reverb thing, but it really is a minor point. That aside, this is one of the most incredible melodies I've ever heard, not just on MacJams but anywhere, and no amount of reverb can change that. Check out my latest song called The Wolf 7

Not just Jim Thanks snow for the comment on the melody thing. I know in new age melody can take on a different meaning than other styles. I am posting a solo version of this tune shortly hopefully you'll see a change in the reverb Thanks --- The Tiler Check out my latest song called The Bluebird Cafe (with two other guest)

Another one I like... ...I used to have a Bennett Hammond album that was drenched in reverb and chorus and delay... and after I got used to it, I really loved it... I LIKE the reverb here... at spots it almost becomes another instrument... and it doesn't sound all cold and boingy or clinical... it sounds warm and reverberant, like a guy playing a great guitar in a beautifully tiled bathroom... The playing is lovely and the tune is real nice... Ed Check out my latest song called Next Time Around (w/jiguma)
