Description:
I had to upload again after encoding problems...

Lyrics:

You can wear it to a party or put it on a cracker
you can freshen up some bass strings or use it as a lacquer
it's a real taste treat that smells oh so nice
and if use it on a Tuesday, you won't have body lice
it's Aqua Velveeta
a manly smelling cheese
Aqua Velveeta
a fantabulous party treat
Aqua Velveeta
it's an after shave and a cheese
Aqua Velveeta
for all your grooming and dairy needs
so please remember the next time you're have to decide between some cheddar or after shave
just think of Aqua Velveeta
a tasty smell only a bovine would crave
Aqua Velveeta

Too short! &mdash 10/01/05 - 09:13:10 AM
But I enjoyed every single second of it!
Very clever lyrics and near perfect production.
Top-notch!

Too short! &mdash 10/03/05 - 01:37:34 PM
Since this is a fake commercial, I was working to get this at exactly one minute
(as most commercials are either 15, 30 or 60 seconds long)... It's actually a few
seconds over... (I'll try harder next time!)

I shall... in fact, I really can't help it... I'm sure there's some technical name for
my condition... Entertianed-by-my-own-small-brian syndrome, maybe...?

Funny song &mdash 10/03/05 - 08:22:37 AM
HA HA HA

What software, hardware or plugin did create the vocal harmonies? I take
it you did not really layer these harmonies in 3 or 4 separate takes ;)

Funny song &mdash 10/03/05 - 01:33:01 PM
Actually all the vocal parts are done by tracking each part separately throughout
the whole song. Most harmonies are double tracked with the exception of the
really high parts and the really low parts. Then it's just a process of panning
and mixing them for the right blend. This whole song is driven by human
churning...

Lol again ! &mdash 10/31/05 - 02:23:16 PM
Voices melted like innocent 50's happy days smile makes such a contrast
with the lyrics, we can but laugh. Great humour !

It's Refreshing &mdash 11/29/05 - 01:53:35 PM
After a hot day in the mines, there's nothing that sounds more refreshing
to me than some Aqua Velveeta. That and a cold beer to enhance the
fragrance. Brilliant work.

5 X

Now with jalapos! &mdash 11/29/05 - 02:22:29 PM
As a brand spanking new macjammer I took the advice of five_extra_arms and listened to Aqua Velveeta as my very first piece to comment on. (yea! I'm not a virgin anymore!) I'm really glad I did.

Your piece moves quit smoothly and the harmonies (complete with scated bassline) sits quite well on the ear. I wonder if, like an actual fully produced jingle, you might do a little bit of voiceover in the middle to make it seem as if it really was lifted off the air? You know, the actual announcer hawking the stuff. Not that that is necessary, the song works quite well enough without any additions!

somewhat like Shimmer &mdash 12/03/05 - 10:13:53 PM
the floor wax that's also a dessert topping.
I discovered this just in time for the holidays.
The great thing is you could keep some behind your ears and you'll
always have cheese handy. So often i find myself saying "if i only had
some cheese right now". BTW - Velveeta is my favorite processed
cheese food just slightly ahead of cheez whiz.
wonderful creation, performance and production as usual.

(...where have I heard that word before? ;)

I realized I never came back to re-comment on this tune after you
resubmitted it. Here....there. Right.

Moo.
