Description
Well... This was written and recorded earlier today. The vocals were done in one take, and i didnt go back to them, even though i should have (lazyness perhaps?). Anyway. i left eet, went about my daily business, then drank more than a few Pints of Cider. Listened to eet again and thought "think ill submit eet". not sure about the genre, i choose Folk coz i thought its kinda Springsteenesque, (i wish there was just a Rock genre on mac jams). Its kinda short which aint neccesserally a bad thing (or so a few Girls told me but I think they were lying about that... nevermind) but i quite like eet anyway. Vote, comment, like, hate, whatever... Thanks folks.

Lyrics
Rain, and wind blowing
blowin down the trees
my momma she told me its just a gentle breeze
but fires are burning and
there is such disease

suddenly we see the light
shinning bright
suddenly theres nothing wrong
if we fight

carry down river
sail toward the sea
in times like these i wonder
wot will become of me?
they tell us lies,
its no suprise
i do dispise them

suddenly we hear the screams
salvation is at hand
i hope there is nothing wrong
i yearn for dry land

Good stuff
This is an enjoyable track...probably more rock than folk but who cares
about that.. really smooth vocals and I like that harmonica bit that
comes in
Nice

Sounds good
This sounds pretty darn good. Nice singing and this would absolutely kill
with real instruments - and the harmonica, of course :)
Good job!

Get in, get out...
Nice melody. Good voice. Short is good! Say what you want to say and
get out! I think most compositions are far too long. Leave them wanting
more. I did. Nice work. I gave you high marks.

The aftermath
Really nice. I'd put it under Folk Rock, maybe? (Just saw the Dylan bio
and how they booed him when he went electric.) Is this about New
Orleans, Katrina, the aftermath? I like how it is ambiguous and could be
about so many things.

I know the feeling
Laziness overwhelms me, too. You seemed to have pulled it off vocally.
The distorted guitars seemd a bit too loud, and clipped a little. The
harmonica is a nicely added touch. Watch those levels. Otherwise, a
cool track, as are so many of yours.

good voice Liam
the vocals are really good , would sound cooler with
real guitars....
Like the harmonica a lot, very nice and mellow flow.
this is enjoyable listening.

Cheers

My favorite so far.
Seriously, this is my favorite song I have found on this website so far. It
reminded me of a cross between beatles, U2 and depeche mode.

An interesting mix. I also love the simplicity of the song. People get way
to hyped up about over-produced songs. The simpler the better.

In any case, nice work. I hope to hear more of your songs in the future.

Way Cool Tune
Catchy melody on the guitar and tasty drums. Terrific vocals, too. You've
got a quality voice there. Nice job.

Nice Melody.
Good melody, good lyrics. Nice voice. I 've listened to an awful lot of
music on the site and this is tune I find my self humming at times.
Id like to here another version perhaps with a bidge, another verse or
more instruments. Good job.

format
I have gotten alot of crap from time to time for writing song after song without a chorus in it. I just wanted to say hell ya! Glad to see someone else choosing instrumental over chorus. Enjoyed the mood of the song as well as the poetic lyrics.

Got me thought some tough times..
Downloaded this tune and thought it was amazing. I listen to this often at work, it helps me thought times dealing with my boss, the janitor, token latina chick and the blonde girl I can't decide is my girlfriend or not.

Two minutes into this song, when the organ hits I put down the hooch I'm sharing with my friend Brown Bear - I look out the window longingly, knowing that everything is going to be alright and I've learned another lesson...
