Description:
This is an original Japanese composition by Jesushairdo which I translated and sang in English. It's not a word-for-word translation as that is impossible, but I extracted the essence of the song per Jesushairdo's description. I took liberties in modifying the melody in certain areas and added harmonies, but for the most part, I stayed dedicated to the spirit of the Japanese song. Jesushairdo did an amazing arrangement. I hope this song can even come close to the original.

Your vocals are so clear and professional. The music is very well written
too. I like how you wait until almost half way through, extend a note, then
restart including the electric guitar. I also like the break before the last
vocal set.
You did a good job of translating and having the english vocals still go to
the beat.

Thanks, Ben. I spent the whole day yesterday trying to strike a balance between
Jessushairdo's awesome arrangement and my vocals. It was hard to translate
the song because Japanese is very syllabic even when sung, while English words
are often multisyllabic. I was more worried that I would not give justice to the
Japanese essence of the song, and now I feel relieved that you, one of the great
musicians here, actually like it. Thanks, man, that was so inspiring to hear from

I liked the earlier version Jesushairdo posted, but I like this even more.
The vocals in this sound fantastic! So clear and crisp!
You're one heck of a singer.

And I really loved the way you sang "But Ill never say never".

What a great collaboration. So glad you two are working together.
Jesushairdo's song are so good, and Leon your voice fits them perfectly.
Great mainstream pop. I like the layers, melody, pulsing chordal backing.
Very strong song construction, vocal performance, bass line. In my ears,
too much reverb, not enough electric guitar, perhaps a simpler snare line
in the drumming choices, and something to fill out the middle to create a
more classic pop anthem build (string runs to fuller chords, electric
guitar). But a solid, solid track and wonderful tune. [ Reply to This ]

because of your amazing music, vast experience and critical ear, and we
certainly appreciate the praise and tips. Jesushairdo and I made this
collaboration on a whim and I later realized it was a work from the heart.
