Well you have the title right. &mdash 10/02/05 - 01:04:48 PM
This song is Melancholy. I enjoyed the melody quite a bit. The added
piano chords to your original piano after the middle fit well too.

Impressive &mdash 10/02/05 - 02:27:12 PM
You should be writing soundtracks! Really nice melody to this and I like
the way it builds throughout. Blimey when I was 13 I wasn't even
listening to music...never mind creating stuff like this!
Nice one

cool stuff &mdash 10/02/05 - 05:16:10 PM
Love electric guitar, like that beginning as welll. Cool chord changes in
the piano.
Nice reaction between the bass. Like the simplicity of it.

Nice Atmosphere &mdash 10/02/05 - 06:47:05 PM
Nice Atmosphere. Your piano playing is top shelf and the song has
nice space to move around in. Nice guitar as well. The title is
appropriate it certainly has that feel. Nice piece especially for being 12
when you wrote it.-JAC

Gifted &mdash 10/02/05 - 07:03:20 PM
When I listen to guys like you, it makes me realize how incomplete and
inadequate my musical training as a child was. But then, I was never as
naturally gifted as you are. (At that age, I was gifted at stealing money
from my Dad's wallets.) Man, this is amazing stuff you have created. I'm
not exaggerating when I say it almost made me cry. This is a sombre
soundtrack to some drama movie! I'm an instant fan.

epic Scandinavian movie &mdash 10/03/05 - 06:42:22 AM
Very emotive piece Einar, one that wouldn't be out of place as the
soundtrack to some epic Scandinavian movie (do they still make them -
epic ones I mean - anymore?). It's amazing that you were able to
produce such beautiful musical ideas at such a young age. The theme
is so haunting and memorable. Well done, Neil

just so talented &mdash 10/03/05 - 12:35:11 PM
Great Einarus:)

You are in the elite division of composing and performing. very good - and that you where some years younger doing this shows your natural talent for sure.

You can make a living of your music.

The mood &mdash 10/04/05 - 06:41:40 AM
This tune puts me in a mood that I like a lot, and which I was
mastering when I was 12, 13 or 14, but not so well today anymore. I
dont mean that I was puttin it to music, but I could flow with it and rest
in it. It is like a very peaceful mood with no much thought. It is a mood
in which vitality gently pours back to body and mind. A mood with no
time ... and no worry ...

Do you have any more like this? Or could you produce any more today?
A CD with this kind of music would be great healing (clean from
eastern mystification), very effective for me and hopefully many others.

I keep playing this tune from the beginning again and again ... I
needed it! Thanks a lot!

incongruity &mdash 10/06/05 - 12:34:15 AM
When I saw your pic I was expecting surf punk of eminem wannabe . I was
pleasantly suprised. well composed nicely played and orchestrated. I
guess its too cold to surf where you live.

Oh wait &mdash 10/07/05 - 03:51:53 PM
That's not the moonlight sonata... this is cool. Much better than you'd expect from someone 12, 13 or 14. As usual, you have a way of making a song build nicely, adding layers that fit just right. Nice going! This is PV, by the way.

Great Song!! &mdash 10/08/05 - 08:09:01 AM
Somehow this song reminds me of the music played in Clint Eastwood's spaghetti western movies.. which I absolutely love by the way!! The building up of the music is just wonderful. You have a great talent and I'm sure a great future as well. Thank you for sharing. ~b

Haunting! &mdash 01/09/06 - 06:53:42 AM
Beautiful haunting melody--the sort of piece I love play on the piano in
my melancholy moments. You are obviously a talented young man. The
melody and sounds really get inside one's soul.. Keep up the great
work! I am looking forward to hearing more of your music!
