Description:
This is a little funky number I came up with. I was going through some drum loops and the basic guitar line came to me. I added a couple other things and ended up with this. The whole song came together rather quickly and I had a lot of fun making it. I hope you share the fun and enjoy.

this sounds like sooo much fun! nice guitar parts...working off each

Nitpick---actually large nitpick... needs a solid fat bass line to anchor
and propel this.

Thanks Ziti, coming from another fine guitarist like yourself, I take it as a real
compliment. I had fun doing the song and it came to me rather quickly. As
for the bass, It has a bass line that may not come through as much as it

Thanks Johnny, I know what you mean about the Strat. I love that guitar.
Years ago I had a Floyd Rose setup put on it with a locking nut. It allows you
to really bend the strings and not loose the tuning. Not to mention the nice

think it works with this piece. But since I’m a guitar player I probably sub-

early Red Hot Chili Peppers. Something about the sound of the drums
with the slap bass...
Just a shame to me that this didn't go anywhere. Trying to add some
structure to the jam would've improved it alot for me... I don't
nessicarily mean adding a verse/chorus or something, just some sort
of overall change to the piece like a slow build up to solos or
something. Its just that at the moment, after the first 20 seconds have
played I have essentially heard the whole song. After that 20 seconds I
then started to wait for what was going to happen next... and when
nothing new happened (the change of solos wasn't that different) my
mind just started to wander.
So despite the guitar playing, this song didn't keep my attention for
very long at all. You've got some talent with the guitar, but you can't
rely solely on it, its only one part of the song after all. [ Reply to This ]

Composer thanks for the constructive comments. My dynamic range is fairly
narrow, basically I play what I call "stream of guitar" lay down a track and
then response to, sort of like abstract painters work. My stuff generally
doesn't build; I come out running full steam and go till I drop. I'd be
interested in what you have to say about some of my other stuff. You have a

instrumentalist and have never felt I had the skills to write lyrics. I would love
to hear a song of mine with vocals but I think that would have to be a
collaboration with someone. I'm glad you enjoyed the song I certainly had

cause it came so quick. The basic guitar groove came in two takes and the
