Description:
I`ve tried to write something that`s not trapped in any classical form. So, here`s a half-instrumental, half-singing piece! Hope you`ll enjoy!!

Lyrics:
Yeah, we enjoyed the perfect ride
But nowadays we`re gonna slide
Away from what we thought
We`re just too high

Yeah, we enjoyed the perfect days
But we`re gonna loose our ways
We forgot that all the good times go by

The wonder when we`ve tried
To leave ourselves behind
To follow just the lovin` spell

There`s not much more to come
In other words there`s some
Protection when we`re goin` on

very relaxing &mdash 10/04/05 - 04:21:47 PM
Liked the half instrumental half singing part, even though this
would be a great instrumental.
Der Gitarren Sound ist sehr warm und klar. Deine Stimme passt
sehr gut zu der Stimmung des Liedes.
Half English/ half German review, ha ha.
Really liked the ending section.
Very nice guitar licks and voice.
Good Song.

Cheers

Lot of Atmosphere &mdash 10/04/05 - 04:48:45 PM
I really like the atmosphere you create here. Very nice space the music
is in and the guitar playing is excellent. I agree with Johnny would the
vocals are nice but would be a fine instrumental.-JAC

I also enjoyed the ambience this piece gives. Great for listening and dwelling on things, or as background music. Thanks for sharing!

Nice tone witht he guitar &mdash 10/04/05 - 04:52:09 PM
Like the arrangment, like the sound of the guitar. Like that James Taylor
feel. Like the change of pace a bit before 2:30, nice harmonies a bit after
that.

The change of pace makes this song very unique and original!

Good going, nice tune,.

Soothin sounds &mdash 10/04/05 - 06:27:13 PM
Wow as usual. This's one of your best. Love the harmonies, and the
flowing feeling. Lyrics are lovely.

Nice shine &mdash 10/04/05 - 06:33:18 PM
...on this very polished piece. This is a very well thought out, and a
nicely produced piece.

Your voice, it's like silk, on this one. Still I think of a finely tuned reed
instrument when I hear it, however this is even better than recalled on
one of your last tunes.

I like the fact that this is something different, new and refreshing to
hear. I haven't heard this here yet...

Good job IGM

Great feel &mdash 10/04/05 - 07:53:23 PM
Like everyone has said, I love the pace changes. It does have a james
taylor feel to it. Good production.

Although... &mdash 10/04/05 - 09:52:58 PM
... I was beginning to think the instrumental intro was getting too long,
then you surprized me with the placement of the first verse in a very
good way. Very nice vocals and harmonies. Performance and
production value is top notch. The changes remind me of so many
bands... the first change has a Tony Banks feel to it, the second, I
cannot place. I wish it had a different ending, but maybe that's what
makes it as unique as it is!

Better and better &mdash 10/04/05 - 11:19:02 PM
Haha .. nice tune ... you almost fooled me ... it is getting better and better
as the song proceeds .. .. starting off almost a little listless and drowsy,
then vocals come and lift the tune a little, then after a while the tempo
lifts and more voices come ... and the latter parts is just great and
beautiful!

Simple and effective &mdash 10/05/05 - 07:32:57 PM
Really sweet harmony, Ingo. Must have felt good when you finished this
song and listened to what you had come up with. The guitar and electric
piano work well together and sound great. Nice change of pace for the
short instumental break after the vocals entrance - effective, attention-
getting, but not too much, not too shocking.

Everything about this song is well done.

Another masterpiece! &mdash 10/07/05 - 04:03:21 AM
It`s good to hear something like that. Unique and new. But also well known in several parts. Your composing-style grows and I`m happy to be a member of this innovative community.

Wonderfully lyrical guitar playing &mdash 10/07/05 - 08:37:29 AM
I loved the guitar playing in your intro with the acoustic guitar. Nicely
phrased and not to busy or sparse very nice, just wish it featured a
little more during the rest of the song. I don't think you really needed
to swap for an electric guitar for the upbeat sections (at least not all of
them). The acoustic guitar fitted in perfectly with the ambient sound
you had in the intro and I felt you lost that a little with the different
timbre of the electric and slap? bass. Is still a lovely song, well done.

Yes &mdash 10/07/05 - 04:49:09 PM
Great piece of songwriting and a great performance. I love that
galloping bass rhythm coupled with a splendid lead guitar and
delicious chorus. The abrubt ending is brilliant... as if to say "the ride is
over NOW".

Everything here is great! &mdash 10/07/05 - 07:14:08 PM
The arrangement is strong, well worked out... the recording has lots of
nice change-ups...

Your voice is very strong throughout, guitar playing strong and
varied...it has changes but still feels like one piece...

Has a sort of "suite" feel, as if it was composed in separate stages that
have some central relationship...

Very well done!

Very dreamy &mdash 10/08/05 - 04:06:21 AM
Great guitar and vocals as usual - especially love the harmonies. As
people have said, a very James Taylor style vocal. I'm not a big fan of
electric piano, and would probably have preferred a bit less reverb on
that track, but it works really well as a whole piece. Very dreamy -
LOVE the ending!!!!

song. great guitars and atmosphere.

Dig... &mdash 10/09/05 - 02:36:41 AM
I liked this tune a lot... it reminded me of something that I can't quite put
my finger on... familiar, yet new. Dig the harmonic texture and how you
use your voice in the track.
Solid.

Contemplating... &mdash 10/09/05 - 12:31:28 PM
This record reminds me that I can never give up my youth, at least in
mind. Musically, I really enjoyed the melancholy and thoughtfulness.
Good work with the arrangement and the perforfmance also.

I'll admit &mdash 10/09/05 - 12:59:04 PM
I'm not exactly a harsh critic... and that I can't find anything disagreeable
about this song. Almost a Steely Dan meets James Taylor kind of vibe-
but this sounds original at the same time.

Digging everything about this- 'lectric piano, guitar noodling, excellent
vocals and harmonies!

Wow...James &mdash 10/09/05 - 06:04:21 PM
Sounds a little like James Taylor...one of my favorite all time musicians.
Very nice vocals, back up and all...instrumentals really pro. High
marks.

Only two different letters, really - but you get my point.
I absolutely loved it!
Every note, every speck of atmosphere, every tempo change, every word.
The only thing that I think could be done a little better is the ending. After
all that wonder the ending sounded a little simple for my taste.
Anyway - Probably your best yet.
Fantastic.
