Description
This is a song I wrote in 2004. I was reflecting on my past with my parents divorce and all that has lead me to the point I am at now (or at least when i wrote it). I wasn't going to post this until i re-recorded it, but a live version is always good too. It was recorded through a digital camcorder at a local "Idol" competition I guest starred at. The qulaity isn't the greatest but oh well..enjoy!

Lyrics
Never Wanna Cry
©Aaron Polley 2004
Verse 1
Broken in my heart
Two worlds torn apart
I was wrapped up in pain
Not sure where to go
Shown down many roads
I couldn't seem to make up my mind
Pre-Chorus (once only)
Was I to choose
A love I had always known
Was I to choose
The place I always called my home
Chorus
I never wanna' cry
I never wanna' cry
I'm never gonna' cry
No more...
Verse 2
And came judgement day
A new rule set the way
It changed my life
Eight years are over now
Please someone tell me how
I have reached this day
Bridge
How could I know
That this time would shape me
Rest me on to a better course
How could I know
It would re-arrange me
And leave me calling for more

Although the live-sound is a bit crappy in this case you`re a very talented singer. Hope your next song will be clearer so all the MJers can enjoy your wonderful, mellow voice.
