A light glows bright when she is near
And when she’s gone it disappears
She smells like rain and colored flowers
He could watch her float for hours

When she’s gone it hurts like fever
Burning lonely aching fever
Want to bury my dead heart
That longs for her and falls apart

Away the Raven

Black as hair and green as eyes
Electrostatic dream surprise
The rainbow at the pot of gold
The colors beautiful behold

Under her wings she loves the sky
Above the clouds so far up high
So near to God and flying closer
I believe that Heaven knows her

Away the Raven

Taste the sweet hot burning kisses
When she’s gone it’s what he misses
In the dark he stumbles for
The shadows she had left before

When she flies back home to him
The light inside will glow again
His head will reign like fragrant showers
Begging for her secret powers

Away the Raven

Interesting composition
Reminds me of murky early 80s first wave goth like Bauhaus or Sex
Gang Children.

Will check out some of your back catalogue.

Howling Like A Texan!
DucK!

Where do you find your style? This sounds like it comes from Lagrange,
Texas! The best parts of the vocals include the "Away, Away, Away"
and really peak at the "Electro Static Dream Surprise". I especially like
the parts with the overlapping vocals where it doesn't sound like they
echo each other, rather they sound like they are dicussing something
together. It has a unique detachment between the separate voices,
even though they are singing the same lyrics. I can't believe you were
interested in singing this song and I am so glad you did. Looking
forward to our next collaboration. If we lived closer, we'd have more
than a virtual band, although there is something amazing about never
meeting your band mates..... Keep flapping your bill and thanks again
for being so inventive and such a daring musician. You haven't even
scratched the surface of what you're capable of, I'm sure. By the way,
ZZ Top called and they were wondering if you'd help with their next
album................

Great Jam.
Like the vibe, and the composition is well thought out.
This is one I'll download for the collection.
My only complaint is the volume levels. It just sounds like it needs
mastered, that's all. A total easy fix. Great job Duck.

Great Jam.
Unfortunately, I am no master at mastering...

Thank you, Brandon

rock
It's a very rockin' tune. It reminds me vaguely of Iggy Pop. Nice.

I'll Echo Brando Here
This needs work on the volume levels of the vocals - but it is a very
intriguing set of lyrics here that you've set to Five Extra Arms music.

Thanx, Mungo, but I have to point out that the lyrix were written by 5xA as well.
I just did the vox.

lots of ideas but lazy as hell and thus bloody useless as a musician... Thank goodness I now and then get a little help from my four fine feathered friends, The Flying Feathers. For some older stuff, see our secondary account: mountainHigh _... [see more]
