Your imagery is quite imaginary &mdash 10/06/05 - 11:15:45 AM
You seem to be a cut above in modern sounds!

Good going

thanks for the compliment, Tiler... I wasn't sure how people were gonna
react to this goofy hunk o junk...

Hey nice stunnutz logo behind the boots there. Very cool stuff here; I like how it's a scattershot triggering of random parts of my mind, like a homunculus running amok in my brain. Another excellent sound painting Eric!

How... &mdash 10/06/05 - 11:32:55 AM
... does your mind consistently come up with such cool stuff? You're not unemployed and not telling me, are you?

How... &mdash 10/06/05 - 05:57:20 PM
Damn, I better not be unemployed! If I was, I'd be polluting this site with
ten times more noise! Thanks for stoppin' in... you must have checked
the e-mail notification box, eh?

So there's nothing wrong w/ my player &mdash 10/06/05 - 11:56:07 AM
And everything right w/ your tune... I think... I'm not sure why I
enjoyed this, it dosen't make sense that I would, but this is somehting
that you have done for me before. I'm on the edge of my seat w/ a silly
smile on my face, but wondering if my computer is going to make it....
Now you've f#ck'd w/ me and my toys, hahaha and I'm laughing LOL

I wish that I had the courage to peer into your noggin, but I think that
it is prolly best in doses like this... It feels safer this way

I'm listening again and I don't know why I'm amuzed w/ the fact that
this is what it sounds like when my computer is about to blow chunks,
but it could be because I'm safe knowing that it's just blowing Stun
Nutz... Wait, I didn't mean it like that...uh uha...

Thanks buddy, that was fun.

rowr.
this had me hooked even before it took off, but as you turned up
the juice you grabbed me by the nads and held me spellbound.
again, your rhythmic structure drops my jaw. i love the skippin
and jabbing- and as a whole this piece owes a little something to
mouse on mars 'radical connector' i think, but takes itself a little
further than those crazy germans.
three elements stick out at me- the beat, the woopy synth
resonation, and that background 'music'. blending them together
as you have unites rather random aspects of my own life including
the hectic pace of my mind, my cold detachment from my
immediate world, and distant childhood memories of late night tv.
this could be a statement about me, which only points me to state
that this piece has some real universal root system that couldn't
be conjured up by your average poobag.
great work, capt. mollusk. your aural experiments continue to
push the envelope and have such a specific personality.
always a fan.

Ahh yes... Mouse on Mars. They are excellent! I saw them open for
Stereolab and was really entertained. They played radically
different versions of their tunes live... very fluid, always changing.
Thanks for the comparison... I don't think I am in their league yet, but
maybe one day... it's nice to know I am getting close!

roxy in atlanta. my first year down here- on the dots and loops tour.

Man, I'm laughing so hard... Not sure why one would come to this after
a stressful day and have it somehow, bring pleasure, but I did...

I don't even know what to think except that it made me smile
throughout the entire piece and then a full on outburst at the end...

Thank you.
Cyd

So... you think this is funny? Am I here to AMUSE YOU? All kidding
aside, I have the same reaction when I hear this. In fact, I originally had
more 'serious' artwork... and had to change it at the last minute... yeah,
a smiling wad of fuzz in sexy boots was much better.

Oh no, dude! wrong impression... You should know, that any music that's
good or that makes me feel good enough, it makes me smile and often times,
it makes me laugh outloud. It's true. Good art makes me smile phat grins
and,,, my friends tell me that I'm laughing all the time. I don't know why, it's
just the way I'm built.

Funny thing, I am smiling and laughing all the time, too... even when I
don't know it... sometimes it comes out like a dorky Butthead laugh...
remember Beavis and Butthead? In fact, one of my old bosses called me
Butthead for that reason.

BION, I think this tune influenced me to listen to Isaac Hayes Greatest Hits while
I was vacation.

this is freakin' insane......!!!!!that rising thing that is intermittent..... keeps a bit of tension going throughout. my god it made my brain explode at the end........... pushing the high end of the frequncy spectrum for an mp3.......... whoa. i dug that '70's sounding porn jam you had in there....... if thats anything close to what it was......... this is a great exercise in hesitation, intermittent (total controlled) chaos and bone tingling anticipation. brilliant. - shawn
