Good "minimalist" composition This does a good job of following the "rules" of trance techno -- 4-measure phrases (with some 8-measure ones thrown in to keep things interesting) and good use of layering to keep up the interest and the energy. I like the bridge that leads into the third major section of the song, as it provides a good change and keeps the song from becoming overly repetitive. I do feel like this is a little too fast (I measure it at about 160 bpm), but I do remember reading that some trance sub-genres have beat rates this fast, so I think this is more my personal taste than anything else (I favor trance in the 136 to 144 bpm range; good for dancing and working out at the gym). Very cool techno Oooh! Nifty bass line! I too like how it changes things up from time to time, throwing in new drums or a new melody line. And the echo-y stuff about halfway through is also very, very cool. And again, very nice drop of the beat during part of the song. It's really cool when you drop the bass for a few meausures and just let the treble do the talking. Very nice fade at the end. A. Check out my latest song called Aura

Bubble Redeux That was a great trnce song. It made me scape and it was totally different. I liked it and though it was really great. Hopefully I might be able to hear many more trance songs of this type of quality. I wounder how it was done ? THe second part is more intriging especially at the end. |
