Description
E-minor. Nice, strong pulse. Has my first attempt at a melody that spans two octaves in the last half of the tune.

I can hear the learning process that you're going through.
It's really cool to do your learning "out in the open" like this.

That's what brought me to this site.

The strings in the background that echo the melody every
once in a while are a nice touch.

Have you studied the concept of "harmonizing a scale" yet?
Once you have learned that, you'll see the 7 different chords
that belong to a key...and once you see those, you'll learn another
kind of motion you can add to your music.

You already have melodic motion...but once you add harmonic
motion, beautiful things happen. It's a great leap that you can
make with less effort than you might think.

Keep it up!

Thanks Screaming! (Post Wilma Report)
I am only now learning about harmonics, which are simply fascinating.
Hurricane Wilma has screwed me up for a while so I won't be able to
post anything for a while. As soon as I get things going again, I have a
whole new version of this tune. I think those who listen to it will find it
interesting.

I also enjoy posting my "homework" so to speak. I do it in the hopes
that other, more experienced musicians, can provide me with
feedback.

Thanks for your incredibly helpful comments.
