Lyrics
YOU'VE BEEN INTO THE SUGAR

You've been into the sugar
While I was working the yardsale
Something's feeling so wrong
You've been gone for so long
Chewing on my pen cap

You've been working the sugar
Cuz' I heard the voicemail
Stole from your sister's kid
Yeh, I know what you did
Tearing up the contract

Floating above all the hilltops of Hollywood
Mountains of snowflakes and crystalline Hollywood
Feeling no pain...

You've been into the sugar
I can tell by your hairstyle
You met your friend at the market
Jumping over the turnstile

You've been into the sugar
I saw you with your contact
He was looking so thin
But you still let him in
Bet you want your junk back

Floating above all the hilltops of Hollywood
Feeling the love of the freakshow called Hollywood
Floating away...

Mountains of snowflakes and crystalline rivers
You can hardly imagine the powder faced angels
Floating away...

splenda!
Love the hook.
There's something familiar yet hard to pin down about this tune.
Interesting lyrics.

Some tempo/timing things that detract a bit but on the whole it's a great
song.

Like the singing
I like this. The I am th walrus bit is also a nice touch. I actually prefer the tempo variations and the odd miss hit note etc. In my opinion it adds to the whole thing, as it creates a relaxed "i don't care about anything" sort of mood, which is perfect for a song about drug use.

Maybe I'm biased because I too am unprofessional when it comes to playing and recording.
